The silver lining: we definitely will be sellers.

Or attempt to be.

After the 4 game win streak a lot of people thought “this team has finally put it together”. And maybe we won’t sell on Lonzo, JJ, Bledsoe etc.

Welp. That’s done. Sell it all.

Yep. It's done. Lonzo and Redick can start packing for sure.

And there won't be a trade for Levine or Beal before the deadline -- not now.

All this time I thought Lonzo was our tank commander but it's Bled that is going to lead us to the Cade promise land.

Which is honestly more important than wins at this point. Lonzo getting moved before the deadline is critical IMO.

It'll worry me if he isn't moved because that'll make me think Griffin has him in the future plans.

Lonzo should be moved, his value won't be any better.

Bledsoe can stay if we don't get anything of value back yet. He's on a reasonable contract and still provide solid play. I think it's best as a 6th man honestly.

We need to lose more consistently if we really want to have a shot at the top of the lottery, though.

Lonzo and JJ should have been moved this past offseason. But unfortunately the people in charge of this franchise don’t see reality, they’re blind optimists.

I really don't know why any other team would trade for either guy. They are both expiring and just not that great. They aren't going to put anybody over the top. So why would they do it?

I was just getting back to enjoying Pels basketball, then the last 3 games happened. I am fricking tired of the tank. I want to win some meaningful games and not blow 10 point leads every damn night.

Same. Especially if we have a shitty season just to get a solid to below average player in the draft that won’t move the needle for us either.

This should never have been an option. We need to shoot for the lottery this year especially after what’s looks to be two misses in NAW and Jax.....

You would think. However, Griffin does not seem committed to rebuilding. If he was, he would not have kept Bledsoe or traded for and extended Adams. He seems to want to rebuild on the fly, which is a recipe for disaster.

Lol, why are you surprised that we’re going on a losing streak on the road? This shite is so stupid.

This is a young team. We just won 4 in a row in a home stretch, us losing games on the road is predictable.

Lets see how the record turns out moron.

In the meantime the Pellies are more than content to play through Zion/BI, let them develop.

We will HOLD our assets for the right opportunity, i.e. if Beal says he wants out, etc.

We’re not gonna just unload our picks and expiring contracts now for garbage because youre freaking out chicken little.

I can't really speak for Lonzo, or how much the Pelicans would get in return for either guy (not much, if I had to guess), but I think the Pels would get or have gotten a good number of calls from contenders on JJ.

I can't really see a way we can not be a bottom 10 team, and trading away Lonzo and JJ would help with that assuming we would get back young players or picks.

I had always said in my future plans that while i would like to make the playoffs this year, if we aren't going to be close to that, then you need to be a crappy team and get one more good draft pick, then you can start your ascent as a team......hopefully. This should be the last draft we are picking in the lottery, or i should say, it better be the last draft we are picking in the lottery.

2021-22 Contract details by year 31 $18,125,000 $18,125,000
2022-23 Contract details by year 32 $19,375,000

That is not a reasonable contract for his production at all..you’re kidding right? Especially paying that much for a 6th man

Bledsoe’s last year is only partially guaranteed at $3.9 million. He is essentially an expiring contract this offseason. Deep breaths here.
