spurs, blazers and pels all have about the same schedule here on out.
We essentially are in a 3 way tie at the moment. As long as we keep pace with them going into the final 15 games were golden. We only play 1 team with a winning record in that span and play the spurs twice at the end.
ETA and the one team is PHI at home. Had no idea how bad of a road team they were. 9-20 on the road, 26-2 at home.

Next six are going to be huge
At Lakers
Cavs home
Lakers home
Twolves home
At mavs
Heat at home
4 of the next 6 against playoff teams. Gotta go 4-2 at worst.

Nah, 3-3 over this span will be fine
Cavs, Lakers, Wolves are 3 wins, if we steal one of the other 3, likely against Miami, we are golden and ahead of schedule

Man when do we start getting into the easy part of the schedule???
Btw, I think 3-3 would be more realistic. Need to take at least one from either Mavs or Heat.

Schedule gets extremely easy after the clippers game on march 14th, laughably easy. Should be favored in 14 of the last 15 games.

We thought they would beat OKC at least once out of the four too.

OKC?
We played them this season?
I've chosen to erase that series

I looked at both of our schedules and I think we should pass them up somewhere around the end of March. Earliest I could see is after our second game versus Memphis (forget the date of that one).

I don’t know what this team needs to do but they have to fix this defense in the offseason. This team is a top 15 defense away from being in the class of the elites in the West.

they give up points in the paint by the dozens; they are like third to last in the league. theres not a lead guard or wing out there afraid of driving on our defense.
the answer is RIM PROTECTION

The defense is fixed baws.
Pelicans dRTG with zion on the floor is 105. That's good enough for 3rd in the league.
We fricking comin

I ask because it's not actually Zion on the defensive end, as he hasn't done much of anything noteworthy on defense as of yet.

Ingram moving back to his natural 3 spot
Ball finally having his legs under him
Favors

Health..
Favors being back means Zion can play 4.
Zion being back means Ingram can play 3.
Ingram playing 3 means Jrue can go back to taking the other team's best guard.
Jrue resuming his usual role means Lonzo can take the 2nd best guard + use his length to harass passing lanes, etc.. -- i.e. the Rondo role

I mean it’s safe to say Zion has unlocked the full potential of several players as mentioned above and to include Melli.
BI guarding the SF, Jrue/Lonzo guarding the 2 guards, and Favors protecting the rim seems to be really good defensive lineup. Plus it allows Zion to cheat out for his remarkable transition post game.

The starting lineup is up to 120 minutes together and they have a DRtg of 92.8. LINK /
It's still a small sample size, we'll see if the numbers hold up after a few more weeks and you balance out the Warriors with the Lakers, but that's a lineup that features 3 plus defenders in Ball/Jrue/Favors and has good length and rebounding everywhere.

I think Ingram is well on his way to being a plus defender as well. Hes kinda under rated defender in the same way Durant is where his length comes into play even when he is beat. He competes on the defensive end as well.
