If you want any kinda value for an asset, you must appear to value that asset. So you put out there "we have a playoff roster". If you put out there we are looking for whatever we can get for Poole or Z...you won't get the best value you could have back.

He is a bitch, nothing he can do about it. He argues the Pels are not talented but there are teams around the league who would LOVE to acquire;

I don’t understand how y'all don’t get 2 things can be true at once. Yes, the team is dogshit and has no 3 point shooting and the bigs are always outmatched. But at the same time, individually, a good number of our players would be playing significant minutes on playoff teams. The team composition is terrible and yes, Zion needs to go so we can attempt to build a cohesive unit.

Murphy is at best a 3rd/4th scoring option on a contending team. Zion and how much he commands the ball to score make any contending team not a contender.
He’s a supremely flawed player.
