west team could make the play in and have much better record than 8th in the east.

Looks like Cleveland will have Sexton back tonight, hopefully they can upset GS. GS doesn't have Wiseman or Oubre but I saw a stat on Twitter today that show Steph is a decent amount better with both of them off the floor.

That probably helps them tbh. He’s talented, but a bit lost, not unlike Hayes is at times.

OP updated. Read it to see why we are still likely to make the play-in tournament.

Not a good night for us last night:

The Spurs managed to whip the Suns, even while resting DeRozan for the day. Chris Paul went 3-10 from the field and posted a +/- of -25. Unreal.

Grayson Allen hit seven 3s last night and had 26 total points in the Grizzlies win over the Bucks.

At least the Warriors lost to the Celtics. Jayson Tatum basically matched Steph Curry, scoring 44 to Steph's 47.

We really need to win today. If we lose, we'll be 3 games back of the Spurs and Warriors.

I had hope a week ago that we could make the play in game. How quickly that has changed, but i haven't given up yet.
The Spurs still have a brutal schedule left, but the way we play it might not even matter. It doesn't matter if we play the best team in the league or the worst, we can lose/beat anyone.

Just looking at the next 3 games:
Spurs have Miami, Detroit, Pels
Pels have Brooklyn missing everyone, Orlando, Spurs
If the Spurs win 2 of 3, with one of those being against us, we would have an extremely hard time catching them, especially since they would have won the season series over us with a win this weekend. We'd be basically 6 games back with 12 to play.
Now if we could win all 3, and the Spurs lose 2, then we'd be a 1.5 games behind them with 12 to play, and we'd have the tie breaker against them.
So this is a REALLY big week for us. We either stay in the hunt or we are out after Saturday depending on what we do. We need to win tonight. Miami needs to beat the Spurs tomorrow.

I have conceded we aren't catching the Warriors. Steph isn't playing around. I thought maybe they'd start giving up a bit and resting but Steph said the hell with that, ima just score 40 every night and win. And we have to play them 3 times. I was thinking those would be some easy wins. Now they are looking like straight L's.

Dame averaged 43 points in the 3 games against the Pels this year. I can't wait to see this team defend Steph.

just need to drop a hair in standings and get into the decent chance at picks 1 through 4. only 2 games out of 30% chance to snag 1 to 4.
those 3 Ls could do it.
therefore id bet the pelicans take 2 of 3.

DeAron Fox averaged 41 and 10 in 3 games against us.
Zach Lavine averaged 41 and 6 in 2 games against us.
Luka had 46/12/8 in his lone game against us.

we've lost to the TWolves twice. One time they did not have Russell or Towns, the other time they didn't have Russell or Beasley.
We lost to the Magic after they traded everyone.
That's pathetic.

The Spurs game on Saturday counts three times as much as any other game, because it decides the tiebreaker between the two teams. The winner of that game will likely get the #10 spot.

debatable considering we are 3.5 games back and have a tough road schedule after.

I already explained this.
Win that one and your 2.5 back. Beat the Nets/Magic, and the Spurs win 1 of 2 against Heat/Pistons and you're a 1.5 game back after Saturday with 12 games left.
And the Spurs have one of the toughest remaining schedule in the league. Like top 3 toughest.
