Nah, why is no one else irate. That’s fricking bullshite. Poole slapped that off his leg clean as frick and they call a fricking foul are you kidding me? Morant traveled clear as fricking day when we were down 2 and now this bullshite? 2 games in and the refs have blown 2 fricking crucial calls.

Antonio Daniels spent the entire overtime spoon feeding this moron fanbase exactly how dumb the play by Trey Murphy was, but all people know is "blame the coach."
Guy's making 100 million to go under the screen on Vassell all game, giving him wide open 3s. Then walk away from a 3 point shooter when you're up by two points, with the game on the line.

May be in the minority but I think the offense should have ran through Fears in OT.

It was a good game but we should have won that. That’s why I’m pissed. Comes down to making the right decisions and coaching. Herb shouldn’t be shooting the ball in the fourth quarter. Guys need to know to not allow spurs to take open 3s. Poole should never facilitate the offense

I thought Trey had a very solid game...except for that defensive lapse.

His arse should've been parked on the bench. Hes a bench player. Not a starter.

It’s amazing just how un-clutch this team is. Missed free throws galore. Also Jose get a Tech while checking into the game because his jersey isn’t tucked in giving the Spurs a crucial point. You can’t make this stuff up. They have to fire Willie but they won’t.

For those of you watching the game, how were you able to watch it? I’m in BR and every option I tried said blacked out in your area. Thanks!

I didn't have a problem with Poole. Poole's game will always come with some questionable decisions but he has been fine overall. What we can't have is Herb having games where he can't hit the ocean.

I kept thinking to myself I kinda rather have cj over poole.

When it happens consistently the blame falls on . . . your best player. Zion has to get better. Just being healthy isn’t enough.
I still am in disbelief we traded an unprotected first, but the two rookies are incredible early bright spots.

CJ is having an awful season.

I really proud of Queen all I heard since draft was how lazy he is, but I watched a dude who a week ago wasn't even cleared for contact battle his butt off against an alien and another 7 footer. Couldn't be more impressed with our 2 rookies.
If they don't beat the Celtics on Monday I think it's possible Wille coached his last game in New Orleans his leash is short that is why the made sure they kept JB on staff

I just know Willie is going to drop a “give those guys credit” during the postgame.

I watch it through Pelicans+ on the NBA app

Why does it seem that other teams are more poised down the stretch than the Pelicans? The Pelicans seem to freak out at the end of games.

Guy is done. Sad but true. Watching him in person the last couple years he is just painfully slow. Credit the team for getting anything for him (unlike Ingram)

Finished with 9. Unreal lol.

I’m really excited about Queen and Fears. If both can get better at knocking down triples…league might be on notice

Exactly!!!
And yet the majority are still speaking about how we gave up a top 3 pick of 2026 loaded draft.
Wembi killed AD and Lively and everyone was expecting a blow out last night, but Queen really made him work hard for every basket, battled for rebounds against him and Kornet, and still was efficient in attack.
And Fears continues to play with 0 FEAR, so we should really hope that both keep developing instead of constantly moaning and bitching about the "worst" trade.
And it seems that our best minutes were with both of them playing alongside Zion (which was supposed to be a disaster).
If Missi keeps developing as well we have a very good young core.
And for those who are saying Zion should learn how to make free throws, he made 8 in a row before the final miss, so that was not the problem.
Perhaps it won't be so bad if we lose against Boston by blowing up another lead and 2-3 more games, if this will lead to getting rid of the biggest problem. Because those two games showed the same old weaknesses of Willie.
Even though he made some progress by giving big minutes to the rookies (who are more than deserving them), it's still inexcusable how he is not finding a way to stop crucial runs.
We gave up a 19:0 run against Memphis in 3:17 min and he called a time out only after the 14th point. And yesterday it was a 14:0 run in 2:30 min and he called the time out ..... after the 14th point.
And if he was a proper coach he would have shouted to the guys not the allow a 3 pointer at the end at all cost (i know everyone is blaming only Trey, but he had played 41 min till that moment, so perhaps he shouldn't have even been for that last play).
