I agree. Except it highlights we have no closer on this team. We lack a clutch scorer or even just a clutch shooter. We won’t be able to win enough close games at the end.

Yes, all of this is pretty shite.
Of the three players you mentioned, only Missi is possibly a longterm piece and even that is a huge question mark. Bey is a fun story but his production now means nothing for our future, which is what we should be thinking about because this team is not built to compete.
Murray likely won't be on the team by Feb.

I'm glad that after 6 months of talking about the future and being met with comments about hopelessness that y'all now want to talk about the future. That's refreshing. I guess y'all prefer to kick the team before they are down and then let up once they are struggling. Very normal fandom.

If the Pels had gotten lucky and won one or two of the first three, which easily could have happened, would you still be this gloomy about things? It strikes me as excessive. I like some of the things I’ve seen and would like to see if they can develop the ability to close and perhaps make a key move to get better. You may be right that it’s a lost cause, but why give up so quickly?

I’ve been talking about the future of this program for 4 seasons now. Been doing it since it was clear our present core was a dud.
The problem is that that core still hasn’t changed outside of some ancillary fodder pieces.
