They might swap with us for the better pick at this rate.

That's not how this works.

We get the better pick regardless.

It really amazes me how incompetent our role players are without our stars.

Lakers are the better team and once they get AD back will pass up the pels in the standings.

Depth covers up your top role players missing time, depth doesnt make up for superstars missing time for more than a couple games.

Once Zion gets back this team has the talent and the schedule to rip off 10-15 wins in a row, and every single one of you people complaining about the depth right now will be in love.

Just to drive this home a bit.

A quick statmuse query shows that the Warriors, during their peak, when Klay played without Steph Curry they won 41% of their games.

Without Curry and Durant? Around 24%

And that was arguably one of the deepest, greatest teams ever constructed in the modern era. But take away their two best players and that team struggled to win more than a quarter of their games.

Lakers are 4 games back. Pels are in middle of a loaded road schedule missing several key guys. May get worse before it gets better but post ASB with a healthy roster the pels will finish strong and at worse be in the middle pack mix with Dal, LAC, GS, Phx. Hopefully Utah and Minny don't get any ideas and pack it too tight.

Its impossible to expect role players to keep us at the top for more than half the season. They've done a fine job, they're worn out and need the stars to stabilize things. It sucks we're losing right now but this what you get when you're top 2 player miss most of the season

I’m pretty sure it was sarcasm bud, but glad that you know that the team getting compensated in the trade didn’t do some sort of reverse pick swap to get worst.

This late in the season its mind blowing to me that if the playoffs started today we’d have home court advantage in the first round, yet we’re only 4 games ahead of the 13th place Lakers.
