I think he's a really good fit on Offense with those guys.

Would yall be willing to do this:

Pels trade: 10, Bledsoe, Lakers 22FRP

Cavs Trade: Sexton, Taurean Prince

that's the Will Guillory idea, right?

100/100 times. we're giving up almost nothing for a potential dude. we still have the war chest to get another super star and with Sexton's age, we have plenty of time to do it

people need to accept that our D is going to go how Zion/Ingram go. there aren't many guard-types who will make up for our 3/4 (at least size-wise) being deficient on D. we need our guards to do the stuff we were offensively deficient in, like tertiary ballhandling, shooting, etc..stuff sexton does

this is his idea

quote:

Pels get: Collin Sexton and Taurean Prince
Cavs get: Eric Bledsoe, the 10th overall pick in 2021 and two 2021 second-round picks (35th and 40th overall)

quote:

Cavaliers beat writer Kelsey Russo: “I could actually see this as something the Cavs would do. Not only do they get the chance to keep their third pick in the draft, but they could also add a second piece at the 10th pick. Adding a guy like Blesdoe would give them a backup guard option — a position of need to fill — and brings veteran experience. He would be a bench player in Cleveland with Darius Garland leading the backcourt. The Cavs then also could move Sexton before any decisions about a contract extension have to be made.”

I really think for us to be able to compete with what the Knicks could potentially offer the Cavs, we have to consider taking back Love. Either that or send back considerably more future assets.

obviously would much prefer that one to giving up the Lakers 22.

That would be a tough pill to swallow. I wouldn't give up much in terms of pick value if we are taking back Love.

Would you include Kira if you could potentially keep the 10th pick while sending out another future first and seconds?

If rumors of them not getting offers with picks in the upper half of the 1st round are true, I may not include the Lakers pick and either include #40 and #53 or take out Prince and offer Bledsoe, 10 and a future 2nd for Sexton. However, I would hold up a deal if the one you came up with is what they demand.

I'd probably rather send the 10 than Kira.

I wouldn't send out any other 1sts if we are taking back Love.

You don’t think having Sexton and Kira would be a little redundant? It seems like we might not be keeping Lonzo. I feel like if the goal is to see if NAW can be a starter, you either need to bring in veteran ball handling or a guard with size that can defend.

I think there is more potential this year at 10 than what Kira can maybe provide.

Has anyone seen all the smoke around us being interested in Schroeder? Is there any truth to that at all?

I don't understand how a Schroder acquisition improves us at all.

I think Prince hurts our flexibility on other moves.

I’m not sure how….he can be a useful player until the deadline at least and then can be flipped for a larger deal since he is expiring.

Seems like that would be the only way for them to get lonzo.

Sign and trade lonzo for schroder.

Only thing is schroder wants the same money as lonzo if not more.

I actually like schroder but not at 20 mil.

Expiring contract and we were never going to be a below the cap operating team. He is at least more useful for us than Bledsoe.

He’s not the vet guard I want taking minutes from Kira. They are similar types of player, and Kira’s ceiling is probably something like Schroeder. Especially for the price.

I’d rather let the Lakers scramble to find someone else dumb enough to do a sign and trade with them. I don’t want their poo plater of Harrell, Kuzma, Horton-Tucker, Schroeder, etc….

Only useful player they could potentially include in a Lonzo trade that would maybe be helpful this year is Gasol. You could then move Adams.
