Herb is better than Josh Hart and has more potential

But I get what you're saying

I didn’t like trading hart but I see Herb in atleast a tier above.

I would trade several players on team before would even think about Herb. Unless your return package includes a top 10 player, it makes no sense to trade Herb. Young talented cornerstone player who actually doesn’t seem to mind being in this market.

Would anybody (besides me) trade...

1. BI for Brandon Miller and...(while I'm on a roll)
2. Zion for Mikal Bridges...???

I'd even be willing to throw in some "parting gifts"...to get these 2 deals done.

First off, I wouldn't trade Herb. But...

I know this isn’t popular on here but I don’t think this current roster can win chip THIS season. Of players making 8 digits, I wouldn’t be upset if Larry, JV, Zion, CJ was traded.

I’m not upset if they not traded before anyone starts , jmo on current roster THIS season. History shows you need a top 10 player around age 27 or older is basis I’m using.

nah.
Mikal Bridges is Jrue. Great player, but he can't be more than the 3rd fiddle on a great team.

in the offseason, would you trade...
Zion and CJ for 36 year old Steph
and then you could easily get Jarrett Allen with your draft assets.

Steph
Herb/Hawkins
BI/Dyson
Trey
Allen

You think we can win a title this season AND you're ok if we trade Zion?

If we trade Zion, you can't possibly still think we can win a title with BI as our #1. Just not possible.

Man, I don't know if it's cause I just don't take anything remotely seriously, but I keep finding I have beef with folks I didn't know I had beef with.

I'll take the Bloods side, you got crips.

It is no secret around the league that the New Orleans Pelicans are interested in adding more frontcourt help. However, the Pelicans have shown no interest in breaking up their core group which includes CJ McCollum, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, Herb Jones, and Trey Murphy III. Various teams have reached out to the Pelicans expressing interest in Jones. At this time, Jones is not actively being shopped, nor has Jones expressed any interest in wanting a change of scenery, sources close to the team told ClutchPoints. New Orleans remains active in trade conversations and are searching for ways to upgrade the secondary talent on their roster to make a real push for the top spot in the conference.

So basically Jonas and probably Dyson are our two biggest trade chips

Jose and Naji could also have some value.

Curious if pelicans consider Hawkins part of that core group? I feel though he is slowly becoming an important part of that core.

They have value, their contracts are the issue, can’t get much of anything back

I doubt it, not this soon. If the right deal comes along and they had to trade Hawk they would.

Now I think they would try to add extra draft compensation not to, but if all else failed Hawk wouldn’t hold up a deal.
