I see AD as pushing hard for Randle if it means limiting his own minutes at the 5.

Boogie also apparently said he will be ready by the start of the season. How retarded is boogie exactly?

Means Davis was DEFINITELY in on that decision. And might help explain him going so hard for Randle

Regardless of how true what Boogie is saying about us not offering him is, the fact that AD was supposedly very active in recruiting Randle is a good thing.

I’m guessing NO came in with a short term contract quite a bit less than the max and Boogie felt like he wasn’t getting what he feels he’s worth.

By signing for MLE in GS (or BOS the runner up) it’s a big FU to the Pels for not maxing him and the rest of the league calling him a locker room cancer.

Then next year as more money is coming off books + cap inflation, he’ll have hopefully worked himself into a more favorable contract.

The only way I believe this is if his injury is much worse than any of us expect

I don’t think we refused to offer him.

What Dell might have done, which pissed off previous injury cases like Eric Gordon, is telling them “bring me an offer and I can match or beat it.”

Given that Boogie’s leg exploded, gauging the league interest in him is a fair way to valuate a guy not likely to play for months.

No way in hell AD allows the Pels to put the stiff arm to Boogie. Pels knew AD wanted Boogie so they started talking to him. Boogie didn't like the offer, he told AD and Pels he was leaving. That's when AD and Pels start looking for his replacement.
Now boogie sees how universally this move is being sh*t on, so he makes himself look like a victim and puts blame on the Pels for not giving him an official offer. F him

Chris Haynes ? @ChrisBHaynes ESPN Sources: Portland and New Orleans had discussed the possibility of a sign-and-trade for DeMarcus Cousins, but a road block existed since he shares the same agent as RFA Jusuf Nurkic.

Sounds like we tried to get Harkless.
