The quality and difficulty of shots should be factored in too. Buddy shot like 45% on spot-ups. That’s lethal next to Lebron and AD. Teams will actually have to keep a man next to him at all times unlike KCP

Buddy shot 39.6 on C&S
KCP shot 42 on C&S

Not saying Buddy won't be good, just that he will not make as much of a difference as people believe. He will always give up more points than he will score, which cannot be said for KCP

Who does the defense have to pay more attention to? Who did KCP have around him last year compared to Buddy? I think Buddy's looks improve with AD and Lebron on the court.

In the playoffs the defense focuses on everybody.

Yall sitting her acting like I'm saying Buddy is trash and won't help them, all I'm saying is I would rather KCP who's a far superior defender and just as good of a shooter. Buddy maybe able to create his own 3 pt shot better, but when you have Lebron/AD, same as Zion/Ingram you don't need that guy, you just need a guy that can hit a catch and shoot 3 at a high level and defend his man at a high level. Buddy can only do 1 of those.

TJ Warren is another one of the Malik Beasley build that fits Pels.
Highly efficient scorer at all levels.

So no more smoke about a Brogdon S&T?

Are they just remaking their whole roster?….It seemed like their thought process at the end of the season was to run things back with a healthy roster and push for the playoffs.

Maybe Carlisle is looking to shake things up, but I don’t see why they would hire him and try to rebuild to avoid the tax. They could have just gone with another assistant.

Hield makes 42.8 percent of his 3s on the move off the catch. From a standstill, he makes 45.8 percent of his 3s, according to Second Spectrum. He played most of his rookie season in New Orleans with a dominant interior threat in Davis before he was dealt to Sacramento in the DeMarcus Cousins trade. And he’s never played with a truly great playmaker like LeBron, who added years to Kyle Korver’s career. Imagine what he could do for Hield.

Source: The Sixers hope to trade Ben Simmons tonight. The asking price remains the same. The relationship seems to be over. It’s not a matter of if anymore, but when.

The Sixers are reportedly looking for a near AD level return. 4 picks, 3 swaps and a young prospect. I could maybe see Houston having interest and the assets. Outside of them Portland pushing all the chips in is the only other team I see that might be desperate enough to pay close to the asking price.

They absolutely should be pushing for that package, but they won't get it.

I think they will get 2, maybe 3 firsts at most, and a young player or two, and a veteran contract that is somewhat questionable.

Worst case for the Sixers if the relationship is irreconcilable is we can take Simmons into the space in our trade with MEM. I'll even change the 2nd round pick to our BEST one.

Eh, maybe send them Lonzo….but he really only fits with us at the 5. I guess we don’t really know what’s going to happen with Jaxon, but I don’t see it working out.

One of either Simmons or Zion better start shooting the damn ball other than at the rim.
