Growing expectation that the purpose of LeBron's meeting with Riley will be to inform Heat of his decision to return to the Cavs.
I don't know who this guy is but he's been posting like he knows what he's talking about. But confidence and frequency =/= accuracy.

That just seems like speculation imo

The internet would melt down... Lebropcolypse 2014

I also have a feeling Gordon will play lights out this season if he is still on the team. He's basically in a contract year as I feel he will opt out of his final year to get a long term contract. Especially with his injury history.
I can see him being much more tradable as the season moves forward.

as it stands now I would start Holiday, Gordon, and Evans together.
Yes. Perimeter defense of the opposing SF may be an issue, but I'd still do it.

You would. Monty wouldn't. It's borderline moronic we have to construct our roster around our talentless coach.

People around league think Love could be in play again. Maybe as a backup if Bosh doesn't go to Houston. Could involve Parsons in a S&T.

For some reason, I think we're going to be satisfied, if not downright pleasantly surprised, when all's said and done. I think they're working hard and waiting for the dominoes to start falling. Not pumping sunshine . . . just a gut feeling.

I haven't heard a shred of evidence from any source that anything whatsoever has happened. This whole "well we have to make a deal because the numbers don't add up" has pretty much been the detail we've had in over a week.
I hope you're right though

The whole league is kind of on stand by mode until LeBron, Melo, and Bosh make their moves. Then shite is gonna go fricking crazy. Hopefully a team will overpay for Ryno or give us a good deal for Gordon, in hopes those moves will better help them contend.

I don't think that it will be difficult to sign and trade Morrow, Aminu, or Smiht and/or trade Ely or Ajinca as part of the Asik deal. That will allow us to keep our MLE and add an acceptable SF. Maybe a longer term guy like PJ Tucker, maybe overpay a guy like Richard Jefferson or Mike Miller to take a one year deal.
ETA: Morrow could only be S&T using our MLE since we don't have his Bird Rights, but it's still an option.

Sorry guys. I feel like the pelicans wont do anything else, aside from getting asik and getting rid of ryno. No playoffs in the foreseeable future. no star sidekick for AD ever shows up. AD in a few years says he wants to "take his talents" to LA/Boston/Miami/Chicago/Houston etc Gordon's career does a grant hill decline. Cant keep him on the court. Chemistry never gets right. The Pels remain the Milwaukee Bucks/Toronto Raptors of the south forever.
But it'll be exciting to watch those championship contending teams come to town and play in nola at least. Maybe we'll see some good dunks and buzzer beater shots.

At least you're consistent. You've been a one note poster all the way.
It seems logical to me that Demps and Co. are working the phones as much as possible. But things are on hold until a couple of other big ticket players get sorted out. Gordon is a problem, but not the worst we could be facing, in spite of the doom and gloom. It's still possible to conclude the Asik trade without moving Ryno and be able to bring in at least a serviceable 3 for a year. That result would be okay for this season, imo.

It seems like this sort of information gets out for other teams though. Never hear much from around our team until the trade actually happens. We always hear what other teams front offices are doing per twitter and other sources, but not us.
Is that lazy reporting? Dell just runs a tight ship and info is hard to come by? Front office is totally incompetent? Small market so media doesn't care enough about us to find anything out about what our FO is doing? A combination of these things?

Whereas a lot of local media guys break news on their hometown teams that is then picked up nationally on the twitter circuit, we have Reid, Smith, and Feltcher

You do realize he can't leave until at least 2018 right? I'm not sure why you think this team won't make the playoffs.
