Meanwhile in his postgame Lonzo Ball looks like he’s coming to buy Dinosaur DNA in a shaving cream canister from Newman in Costa Rica

Yeah I'm really hoping it's more a fitness thing and not a "I just don't care about defense" thing.

He was definitely sucking wind at times and I know that can take your feet from you.

It’s a weird hill to make such a stance on, and like usual his skills of observation are setting him up for embarrassment.

Comments like “Zion doesn’t look like he cares about basketball.” When, in reality, dude has reportedly been showing up before even Ingram to work on his jumper(and showing up before Ingram is supposedly hard to do). That’s not the sort of thing someone that’s heart isn’t in it does.

The court is a lot bigger in the league and Zion is learning that it's very hard to cover the entire court. He's playing in the paint is forced to rotate all the way to the perimeter. Even with him being in better shape than last season, he's learning how much work it to play high level defense against teams who can space the floor. It's basically something we should pay attention to but it's also something we need to be patient with and allow him some time to adjust.

He's the most legitimately miserable frick to ever follow the Pels.

If Zion is mostly healthy this year, has a healthy offseason, and is still lacking energy next year then I’ll worry. He has time.

Nope, it's been 25 games in. The books out on him.

Him and Oleh are better. McNamara is just a sad man.

Hell with the way Van Gundy is running him I expect we'll see an improvement in about a month.

Honestly that’s pushing it IMO. At that point he would have to lose a large amount of muscle.

I think probably about 10 pounds or less down from where he is now is the sweet spot.

You gotta realize McNamara wants to cast a wide net on possible range of outcomes for everything so that he can say, “remember when I said”.

That, and he will always go against popular opinion.

He’s a classic narcissist. Loves the attention that brings. Loves to prop himself up as the smartest guy in the room with those tactics.

Bledsoe is almost as good as Jrue defensively, but Adams is so much better than what we've been having and with Stan actually emphasizing defense, we're going to be miles better defensively.

Lonzo had a game tonight. He was huge in that 3rd quarter. Too many turnovers but if he's shooting like that and playing that level of defense I'm good

They are going to make it a point to make Ball a thing. Just the little things I hear. Stan really wants to make people eat their words on him.

To Lonzo's credit, he seems really coachable and works very hard. If nothing else changes offensively but he becomes a 70% free throw shooter, he'll be so good. He's gotta have confidence to drive to the rim, especially now that teams will close out on him at the 3 point line.

The one thing I hated about him the most was all the issues he had between the ears. If Stan fixes his confidence and turnovers we might have to reconsider paying him.

So many people were underestimating what impact Adams would have in the middle. Dude is a force that controls the paint on both ends, and also is always looking to screen.

And imo Bledsoe is just as good as Jrue on d, and in some ways better. Jrue just has some size on him.
