I know that. When I say less money I don't mean he would take 1m to come here but maybe 4m compared to 5 elsewhere...odds are of course unlikely
This is why I asked what is projected salary demand would be

What happened to Terrance Jones? Can we use the MLE to sign him?
WHy can't we trade Tyreke to Houston? They have a ton of space left and they only have Beverly as a PG, and they are hell bent on being the Pelicans of last year.

Gerald Henderson signed a 2/18 with the 76ers today.
Re: Terrance Jones...I've heard he has not been the same player since his last leg injury. Nerve damage. Just not the same athletically.

We only have the room exception, which is like 2.9 mil. He's probably going to get more than that.

This is kind of out there but I dont know if we'd be interested in him regardless. It's been discussed on here before that our current management doesn't want players who are known to have attitudes or have maturity issues. Jones is a punk. Although I guess having AD as a college teammate could help.

West is going to get his damn ring. Reported to the Warriors at vet minimum.

He better, now he's up to $20-$30 million lost trying to get one.

Declined 1 yr/$12M option and skipped this crazy free agency to play for Spurs and Warriors for ~$2.8M over 2 years.
Also this:

A player just told me that he would jump on the first plane to California if the Warriors offered him a vet minimum deal. GS has their pick.
Golden State can apparently be selective with their vet min offers.

I don't know. There are no guarantees when it comes to Golden State or the NBA.

That's what Karl Malone and Gary Payton thought when they joined Shaq and Kobe in 2004. They at least made it to the Finals though, but got whipped by Detroit.

quote:Yeah, but even then, only Kobe was probably still in his prime. I think the other 3 were in their 30s. The Warriors have the last 3 MVPs (2 players) in their prime on this team along with 2 other stars in their prime.

Paging MM, is there any updates of what is going on with the Pels?
Last we got was that Evans's camp is trying to find a trade partner. I'm sure still no bites...
