i'd still rather green at 10MM than moore at 8MM

seems like many Pels fans are very down on Moore. why? he's a mid-level guy who is steady.

I don't think anyone dislikes Moore. He's a solid player on a decent contract.

I think people would just rather Green because he's been successful. I don't think it's as much a knock on Moore. They are similar players, but Moore is almost 2 years younger and seems to be upticking or at least steadying while Green is trending the other way and about to be on the other side of 30. I think it's a fun debate that is probably a close call.

I would take Jonathan Simmons in FA from the Spurs.

Per Crewz (on Tweeter) looking to dump Ajinca and QPon too. Looks like they want to operate under cap. With stretching Asik too that's max cap money.

I'm clearly stating the obvious

The Phoenix Suns are attempting to trade Eric Bledsoe in any package they discuss with rival teams leading up to the draft.

Bledsoe has two seasons and $29 million remaining on his contract.

Phoenix has held trade talks with the Chicago Bulls on Jimmy Butler, as well as the Indiana Pacers on Paul George and the New York Knicks on Kristaps Porzingis.

The Suns own the No. 4 overall pick in the draft.

#Pacers said to be sifting through, ranking offers for Paul George on #NBA Draft eve. Been contacted by just about every team, if not all. - Sam Amico

And we're clearing space... hmm...

People need to stop thinking about Paul George. If the Lakers were sitting on the sidelines maybe you have a shot, but the last GM got fired because they failed to land Cousins. Magic isn't going to start off his GMship watching another team take Paul George.

It's a win-win either way. Giving up assets to get a player that wants to play for you anyway is fine and dandy. Last thing we need is another team getting good in the Western Conference. They've already moved D'Angelo Russell. If Lonzo Ball or whoever they get isn't up to snuff, so much the better.

Besides, what's the harm in thinking about Paul George? Worst thing that happens is disappointment. So if you'll excuse me, I'll muse about how awesome this picture is...

Carry on, not trying to be a buzz kill and I think they should be trying if only to make the Lakers give up more like you said.

I would say that gives Jrue more leverage. Still have teams out there with plenty of cap space, but it's tougher now for the Pels to operate under the cap. Fewer options now if we let him walk.

I'd say the opposite because it hurts the teams wanting to go after him. At the very least it makes a S&T more likely. The Knicks for example are reduced to about $18 million in cap space if all they do is let Rose walk. When the rumors of their interest in Holiday started that figure was $22-$23 and they could easily dump Kyle O'Quinn to get up to $27ish. Now an O'Quinn dump just gets them to $22.
