i was just using Harrison as an example. Just someone that could be used as a dump while giving us a 2nd. I'm really just interested in getting that 2nd, if it's even possible.
and i get what you're sayign Crewz. I know we have found contributors using the minimum, but you can still find that guy, and cut Liggins for that spot, or Okafor.

But those moves usually don't happen at this time of year. They dumped QPon because they needed roster spots and because being over the Tax Apron, something they were trying to avoid to not limit potential later moves, is calculated after every transaction, not at the end of the year. Calculating for the Tax Apron includes all unlikely incentives and Jrue alone was adding $5 million to our cap number with those.
A team would have to be in desperate need of a roster spot or be bumping up against the Tax Apron to be desperate enough to use an asset to move someone right now. I'm not saying there aren't teams like that, but did anyone else make a trade late in the summer last year to dump money? I have to imagine it's a pretty rare scenario.

The New Orleans Pelicans have signed Garlon Green to a multi-year deal. Green played in Summer League for the Pelicans this year. – via RealGM

But goddamn he's so bad at finding a viable wing haha.
Ennis wasn't bad.
There aren't many two-way guys out there that have wing size and can be had for the minimum. Those guys get paid more than any other position in the game. If you're signing a min guy on the wing, he's going to have some deficiencies.

No clue what the Grizz will do, but I would rank 10-15 guys out there ahead of Harrison.
Really? I don't think he's great, but he's an NBA player and would be decent as a 9th-10th man (3rd-4th guard), IMO.

Ennis wasn't bad. Solid shooter.
Miller is a great shooter, but absolutely atrocious defensively.
Liggins is just Liggins.
At this point I just want a good defensive wing. I can live without spacing if we keep Niko.

ennis will be starting for the most recent WCF runners up next year. i'd say "wasn't bad" is an understatement
he was/is exactly what this team needs, on a cheap contract to boot

I would almost call him comical. How can a 3 point specialist foul so many 3 point shooters? He should know better but his body just doesn't listen.

hadn't thought about that.
As i said, i'm just looking to see if we can get an asset out of it, albeit a small one. If we don't use the trade exception, it won't bother me.

"Starting", he's probably their 8th best player, and they just lost two wings that are better than him so they aren't quite as deep as they were last season.

He's assuming that Melo is coming off of the bench, which most Rockets fans seem to be hoping. I'm not sure if that's happening though.

if the rockets start (or finish) carmelo then we know mike D has been replaced by the bodysnatchers

I wouldn't expect those guys. I know the Clippers want someone to take Juwan Evans. Could see Dell taking him into their smaller exemption for cash and/or a 2nd round pick. Then, cutting him. Or maybe you take him if you also get Tyrone Wallace in the deal
Wonder if they would have any interest in dumping Beverly/Johnson in a package for Ajinca/Liggins/2nd. Would save them $4 million plus the tax and we could get players that could give us some minutes and larger expirings for Feb. They have Milos already and drafted Shai at PG. Alternatively, we could shoot for Milos/Johnson for Okafor/Ajinca/2nd if they like Beverly better.

New Orleans Pelicans signed guard Kenrich Williams to a Contract.
i do not know who this is

Most of these guys you see "signing" are camp bodies.

Would we want Trey Burke? The Knicks just signed Noah Vonleh and have 14 guaranteed contracts already on their roster prior to that plus Burke's NG deal. Wonder if he would be available and what is fit would be?
