The officials just blew back to back calls that should have been against the Clips & let them win it. This is killer for us. Just embarrassing. I don’t blame the Philly coach for going ballistic

Houston has won 10 in a row, if anyone hasn't noticed.
Only 3 teams were playoff teams, but still, that's impressive.

Would be hilarious if they pass up GSW while Draymond continues to be an asshat.

I dont know if they'll trade Steph, but they are likely to make some major changes this offseason regardless if they miss the play-in or not.

Klay expires this year, as does CP3 (team option, so they'll only keep it if they need it for a trade).
Wiggins has 3 years left at $28M/yr
Draymond has 3 years left at $25M/yr

I could easily see someone trading for Wiggins. He's having a down year but he's been pretty good the last few years, and he's dealt with a lot of personal things this year. They won't have to give up picks to move Wiggins is what I mean.
No one is trading for Draymond. Hell i wouldn't take him if they offered us 2 firsts just to take him.

They don't have their 2024 1sts, but they own all of theirs after that, expect 2030 which is protected for picks 1-20.
So the most they can trade is 3 1sts, after the draft when they are eligible to trade away their '25 pick.

I think they will without a doubt have a goal next year of getting under the luxury tax for next year. The owner has already come out and said that's the goal for next year, so he's basically saying this run with this core is over.

Huge night tonight for Western Conference standings:

Clippers at Magic
Lakers at Pistons
Warriors at Hornets
Suns at Thunder
Wolves at Nuggets
Rockets at Jazz
Mavs at Kings

Hopefully a great night for Pels even though we’re off. best case scenario for Pels tonight is:
Kings > Mavs (distance ourselves from play-in)
Magic > Clippers (home court race)
Thunder > Suns (getting preferred opponents in playoffs plus create some distance from play-in seed)

Wish I remembered where I heard this to get the full context, but I remembering hearing or reading somewhere that the last 10 games for the Suns is the toughest 10 game stretch of any 10 game span for a team in the last 10 years or some shite like that.

Just heard it again on another pod, here it is:

2nd hardest final 10 games to finish a season in the last 30 years.

Damn that’s believable. Most games are on the road and against all playoff teams. Sacramento worst team they’ll play over L10

If shite goes south for the Pels and Dallas gets hot, we’ll be fighting off the Kings for 6th. Suns are doomed to the play-in with that schedule.

Clippers escape another close game yet again as the magic turn the ball over two times in a row with under a minute left

The Clippers superstars take care of business in the clutch. Something we could learn from.

2 games in a row where their opponents just give them the ball with horrible turnovers.

Minnesota and OKC both ahead of Denver in the standings now.

Nuggets gonna be in the 2/3 series

Kings need to hang on against Mavs and we’ll be up 2 games on both of them

Tough call on this Kings.Mavs game. If Dallas wins we have a 3 game lead on both Sac and Phx for a top 6 seed with 9 to go. With both having tougher schedules than us. I would feel pretty good about our situation.
If Kings win then it's only a 2 game lead with a visit to Sacramento still on our schedule but we'd be in better position for a 4-5 matchup with LAC. Tough but I'd rather get a top 6 close to locked
