Right, we've all left job interviews we thought went well that didn't end up going our way. I don't think there's any reason to believe anybody knows anything.
Reading the tea leaves I'd say Kawhi is probably like AD, frustrated that his endorsements and merch sales don't measure up to his stature as a player.
He probably is looking for the situation that maximizes his external earnings while letting him stay who he is. The Lakers probably give him the most earning potential but he'd be in the middle of a circus the whole time. I doubt it's an easy choice for him.

Yep. As deliberate as Kawhi has been with this, I think there's no way that we hear something today. He's going to sleep on it for sure.
Unless all of this was an elaborate troll and he had his mind made up from the beginning … but I don't think that.

I wasn't saying it was. I'm saying Drake obviously has something planned for him so he's not going to make his decision before that unless its the Raptors.
He will do the whole thing and then decide. If he flies back to LA that's a pretty bad sign for Toronto. One would expect him to announce returning there.
