What has Willie done to not also be fired? I don’t understand letting the next GM decide. If Willie was fired today, how many teams are lining up to hire him. You clean house of all the bad execs, coaches, and contracts you can.

They better let the new guy actually fire Willie. Gayle forcing the new POBO to keep Willie defeats the whole purpose of firing Griff and bringing in a new guy if you won’t let the new guy make decisions

I’d argue it would likely attract a significantly worse candidate.

I'll laugh so hard if we pull off trading rights to Willie for like a 2032 2nd round pick.

That makes not firing Willie today make more sense. Fire Willie and you owe him more money than if he quits for another job. I'm assuming he still has more time on his contract from that super secret extension they never told us about.

I’ve gonna say this every time but can we fire Ochsner Health too? Because they can’t get anybody healthy

In a very small way I will miss Griffin's jargon filled press conferences. They both cracked me up and annoyed the shite out of me.

Griffin did some good things. We had some damn good drafts. But they just amounted to absolutely nothing.

He had to go, probably a year too late (Langdon), and so does Willie

For the 3,467th time it has to be said, Ochsner has nothing to do with injury prevention, they’re for diagnosis and surgeries, and players are allowed to seek other opinions if they choose.

It’s every Saints/Pelixans fan dream. But it’s highly unlikely since Lauscha is on the Oschner board.

Bud got fired. Look for Willie’s name to be a finalist for that job

And it takes forever for our players to heal and come back. That is Oschners fault.
