You start Lonzo at SG and Covington at SF. You have NAW be the sixth man. Hayes starts and Adams is a vet leader and enforcer.
Yep, that team actually makes sense.

yeah i was thinking ingram/bledsoe and a 1st, maybe our pick this year
Add 2 more firsts and a pick swap and that’s the range.

I think Dame’s game will age pretty well though.
see i don't. he's much more reliant on athleticism than many on here think. he's not that far away from being a high-usage 20 ppg guy
just to compare, Ingram is 23...will be 24 when the season starts
Lillard turns 31 in a couple weeks

Davis isn’t going to have a long career. Dude has the brittle body of a much older player

who? i don't think the list is as long as you think
Knicks, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Golden State, Mil, PHO, PHI, CLE, Toronto, Min, and NOLA are all teams just off the top of my head that could drive up Lillard’s price.
Again, unlike AD, unlike Kawhi, Lillard has no real leverage. He can’t artificially suppress the market to only the places he lists, he has 4 years left. He’d have to retire and leave 100 million plus on the table, he won’t. So basically if you want Lillard the only thing preventing it is the guy next to you outbidding you. And there are going to be a decent number of those competitors. And what happens when lots of demand goes after limited supply???? Prices rise

I love how Dame is old but we have people on here wanting to give CP3 3/100 this off season.

I mean at some point you have to pay to play. We’re gonna have to go into the tax maybe even as soon as this off-season. And why wouldn’t you do it? You’re trying to get this thing off the ground man. Can’t go at it scared.
if you completely gut the team and sell all our assets, we have to be a title contender. losing kira and BI? i don't see it

How good do you really think Ingram is?
I dont think he gets much better. He’s too goddamn slow. That’s not going to improve with age.

CHI and MIL already blew their load
I said MIA, GS, PHO, and PHI. realistically, you can scratch phoenix and GS off right now.
MIN and CLE? what in the hell?
i supposed Toronto could try to dangle Siakam but BI is worth a whole hell of a lot more than Pascal. they're not likely to invest in Lillard's contract, either. just runs counter to how they do things

he's about to be 24 so improvement is unlikely anyway. but there is no reason to think he'll get worse. that's 7 years of Ingram as is, which is really good. at BEST you get 4 with Dame and it's likely more like 2. then we're f'd
actually, if we're projecting 2 years with Lillard, then it's 9 with Ingram (24-33)

Even if you sent 4 picks, you’d still have a TON left. No one said you’re done making moves.
The reason you send BI is you don’t have to gut the team.

Does Portland even want Ingram?
You trade Lillard and that team is one of the worst in the league. Ingram isn’t moving the needle and has a huge salary.
I’d go full tank if I’m Portland. Take bled and Adams and a bunch of picks. Maybe kira and naw too. I’m not trading Hayes.

No, Lillard is someone who could really benefit from those hard screens that Adams sets, because those create open 3s for Dame off the dribble. You start him and let Hayes run with NAW in the 2nd unit. If Hayes continues to improve his handle and his 3-pt shot, then Hayes also gets minutes at PF, backing up Zion.
