I know this is just a subjective list, but you can't win meaningful games in the NBA without 2-3 guys in the top 50ish. Preferably 1 or 2 guys in the top 20.

obviously subjective but insofar as the “tiers” go I think it’s pretty accurate. And a realistic look at where Murphy and Williamson are regarded relative to their peers.

The disrespect for Dejounte.... Fears could easily be on the list, especially with VJ @ 72.

There are definitely some biases. Heck a 4th rookie comes in at 78. Players like White, Butler (who may not even play), Van Vleet (no one knows how he will come back from injury), Buzelis are all rated pretty high in relative. Heck., Kessler suddenly became a much better player (20-25 spots higher than last year after an injury filled season where he played 5 games) just because he is now a Laker.

Preferably 3 players in the Top 20 if we are just going to act like that's an easy thing to do.
That's also meaningless because someone can play on a really good team, get fed the ball every game as a 2/3rd option and put up Top 20-30 stats while not being a Top 20 player.

You think Pelicans fans would be suprised that the national NBA media dislikes the Pelicans? Is that a joke? That's the whole point of these comments. Dejounte/ Fears are more deserving/ proven than others on this list but they aren't on there because.... National NBA media doesnt like us.

Herb can't shoot, his defense is good but he's a liability on offense. He doesn't have the value he did a couple of years ago.

Say whatever but Sadiq bey is 17/5/2 and an average shooter with slight above average defense.
I still think it's stupid to have rookies on this list.. We've seen how that turned out.

Dejounte averaged 16.7pts/ 5.4reb/ 6.4ast fresh off an Achilles tear.

I look at lists like this based on value. The higher the player is on the list, the more value they have.
So with Murray versus Watson, which one has more value in a trade? Or which one would teams want more? Fair or not, Watson is much younger. He has a better contract and there is positional value with Watson playing a more premium position. Just a hypothetical, but would you be able to trade for Watson straight up for Murray? I don't see any team going for that..

Butler is 37 at his cost and off a torn acl, that's easily bottom 5 value and he's on the list
