Reading between the lines, it sounds like we're making a deal of some kind this week with Atlanta. I just don't know if it's for Trae or Murray.

Griffin’s legacy will be doing nothing with the haul he got for AD. He’ll sit on the picks and use them to erase his mistakes.

Obviously not. You saw what the league thinks of him just now. 5 freaking firsts plus We will shortly find out what the league thinks of BI And it won’t be that.
5 1sts and a swap?
No it won’t be that, but like I said if Bridges fetches that Ingram can fetch at least 4

He just doesn’t offer anything playmaking wise or as a rebounder. He’s a good player offensively, but nothing close to Ingram’s level.
And for the knicks maybe that works when everything kind of revolves around brunson already.

If someone was offering 4 picks for BI a deal would be done.
No one would offer 2.
He’s due a contract and he’s kind of a bum.

Which is why I have been saying you take Murray and run with it.

nets just fixed the harden trade debacle. Good for them and good for the knicks he is going to make them very good.
I agree... but 6 picks good? Sheesh. 4 unprotected picks alone is pretty much the bulk of a top 10 player type return. Bridges is dam good, but he isn't that good.

Knicks wanted Bridges really bad. No one wants BI that bad.

I wouldn’t go this far lol.
Oh how soon we forget Ingram giving Mikal problems when we played the Suns in that series.

Right, and I’m of the thought that market value =/ player ability. All I was stating is that Ingram is viewed as a better player than Bridges is. However, teams have become less entrenched with draft picks and that leads to these wild trades, one of which the Nets are trying to undo entirely.
The cost of the KD/Harden trades have continued to grow. Very interesting to see that aspect

You're in your feels again. We are not even remotely considering a rebuild, and 4 picks for a borderline all-star is a massive step backwards. Brooklyn just went full rebuild.

Also if you hear from Griffin, we don’t want picks, we want a vet.

Exactly. BI gave them buckets all series long

Agreed. And heck lets look at the wolves getting Gobert- people stated that was a horrendous trade but that vaulted them in 2 years to west conf finals and contender status. Yes I know Ant had a lot to do with that too. But my point is maybe knicks think they were close this year and bridges puts them over the top- screw the picks they said.

There’s steps to it. Get the picks, send the picks for the vet.

Yeah, this has to slot the Knicks in as the #2 team in the East for now. If they catch a few breaks, they could make the Finals. It's worth the shot.

We don’t even have to do picks. If Trae young pushes out he wants to go Pelicans. It can just be straight up

Knicks are going to be a really fun team to watch this upcoming year. I love this move for them. They went after the players they wanted. Draft picks haven't been kind to them so there's no point in hoarding picks at this point.
