Apparently winning more games gets you a better spot. So there’s that.

All that panic about the Sixers passing us the last month of the season, shoot now I wished they would have.

I know it would never happen. I’m just having fun.

Not to mention Dallas needs to cheap talent.

AD and Kyrie are like $98m alone.

I do think one or both of Klay and PJ Washington will be traded though

AD was traded after the lottery though, and Griffin was still trying to talk him into staying, so that statement holds no weight

AD requested a trade 4 months before the lottery, signed with Klutch after having dinner with LeBron, the Pels restricted his minutes, and he wore a that's all folks shirt to his last game. There was zero chance he was coming back.

It's actually a very similar scenario if you believe the league is rigged. Psst...trade your star to our biggest market to play with LeBron and we'll give you a #1 pick with a "can't miss" prospect in the draft.

What's more annoying about this is that the 'cant miss' prospect we got is a 310 lb child, while Dallas falls arse backwards into what will probably be a very good NBA player

frick Zion. If we would have traded Zion 3 years ago instead of everyone else that didn't fit with him, we would probably be a playoff team.

The lottery concept is so stupid. As commissioner, if you want a healthy league with parity, why would you want to stop teams from tanking?
If all it takes is drafting one franchise player to make a non-competitive team competitive again, why take that opportunity away from them. You end up with a top heavy league with teams like the fricking mavs drafting 1 in a draft they have no business being at the top of.

And so what if a couple teams on the playoff bubble undeservedly boost their record from playing “tanking teams”. That now sorts itself out with the play in.
NFL doesn’t do this lottery shite. It’s dumb.

league seems to be doing quite fine. This argument isn’t gonna work. We got multiple upsets already in these playoffs

We’re just led by incompetence like most of the other bottom teams.

Adam Silver just showed one big fat middle finger to all teams who were blatantly tanking (except for 76ers of course), and yeah we were one of those teams last two months.
Obviously the lottery was very rigged, but perhaps teams will have a second thought next years, because no one wants to watch games with G-league players already in Jan/Feb.
I do feel for Wizards though who don't have anything but G-league players anyway.
And the amount of people here blaming Zion also for the lottery is so ridiculous, that perhaps we deserve the bad luck!

So this is where we got screwed, but would you possibly do 7, bucks swap and 2027 pick for #2? You would be handing Giannis to SA, but could be possible.
