While I normally pile on Simmons, I'm starting to believe he might have real mental issues. What other explanation is there at this point? He really is causing self-harm, even if it seems trivial to everyone else. His year at LSU clearly foreshadowed a lot of this.

He genuinely does not like the game of basketball and is just in it for the money. He was supposedly excited for a fresh start and ready to play, then the "back" issue pops up. Now that he's healthy and supposedly ready to play again, all of a sudden he has mental health issues again?

His mental health issues stem from his upbringing as an entitled spoiled AAU star. Basically he is a soft pussy but wants to be paid for it. LeBrons lasting legacy will be that of destroying the superstar runs everything state of the NBA, because of his later failures and the generation of entitled players like Simmons, Kyrie, Zion and others.

This is basically the precedent that the national media set with Simone Biles. Anyone can quit now and cite mental health issues. I find it interesting how pundits like Stephen A will bash Simmons but glorify Biles when what they did was essentially the same thing.

Wow this dude is a giant pussy. You’d think someone on that team would just not be axle to hold their tongues and call his out but then again this is the NBA. Maybe if they had a real alpha and not a bunch supremely talented head cases. Kyrie, KD and Simmons all are malcontents. Makes you even more grateful we got someone like CJ who is a better man off the court and playing better than those guys right now on the court.

Ehhh Biles can be massively injured if she’s competing with the yips. Simmons gets his feelings hurt when he cant make free throws. Biles has won multiple gold medals. Simmons has been paid tens of millions and has achieved nothing. I give Biles a break. Simmons is a giant twaht.

Being an a-hole isn’t considered being mentally ill.
Do I think Simmons has mental issues? Yes. Do I think they are why he won’t get on the court? No, I think attitude issues and generally fricking around for the last year rather than stay in game shape are the issue.

I agree that Simmons is a Twawt.
But he is a very good player when he does play.

I do agree he is an embarrassment and seems like a complete slacker. He has no class or commitment. A quiter on LSU, quiter on 6ers and Nets.
