BREAKING: Memphis Grizzlies F Jaren Jackson Jr., underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot on Wednesday and is expected to be sidelined for 4-to-6 months, sources tell ESPN. Jackson is expected to make a full recovery.

We know from personal experience with multiple players that these things can drag out much longer than the initial prognosis.

Dude gets injured quite a lot. That’s tough for them.

I'm a little surprised we're not hearing the Grizzlies name more as a team to go after KD. They have plenty of assets and probably could give away less since they have so much cap space.

That’s a bad injury. He really is a good player too. Hope he makes it back.

That's because the Memphis Grizzlies are located in Memphis.

think about what AD got.
two top 5 picks in year 3 and 4 who still looked good.
the #4 pick
2 more 1sts, 2 swaps, and Josh Hart, as if he's a throw away which he wasn't.

Memphis doesn't have a Brandon Ingram on their team, or a top 5 pick. Outside of Ja, it's just a bunch of good role players.

I don’t root for injuries, but I do get joy that the Grizzlies locked him up at such a high salary when he can’t ever stay healthy.

Bane is way more than a role player. So is JJJ when healthy.
