That’s not an ACL. He will never be the same.

Not a career ender but he will be a minimum 25 percent less effective the rest of his career.

Not sure in NBA, but I know some football players come back in 6 months, the most recent I can remember is Terrell Suggs. 9-10 months doesn’t seem unrealistic, especially for someone that works as hard as DJ

I'm fricking melting so goddamn fricking bad right now.

This season was already fricking lost, I can accept that, but our star guard that's always been healthy comes here and breaks his fricking hand and tears his Achilles in less than five fricking months of playing for us.

God fricking hates the pels.

Better pray the calvary is either Flagg or Harper.

It does to me. The rehab on an Achilles is usually more than 12 months for explosive athletes, and a significant portion can't play again.

It's not about working hard. It just takes forever for the elasticity to return (if it ever does)

Looking at the glass half full, this is positive for the tank this year and pretty much guarantees us a bottom 4 or 5 finish this year. And, literally, the one thing this franchise has ever had good luck in is the ping pong balls.

How long did it take Durant after his injury? Legit can't remember.

Durant injured his in the finals so his was way later in the year.

It's going to take a year.

Murray will be back in feb on a minutes restriction. And if we're this bad at this time next year i can see us moving that timeline back

Whatever it takes to get to a top 3 pick. Who is coming out in 2026 that we can start targeting on the 2nd year of this tanking, injury-plagued franchise?

Griff will limit him to 5 minutes a game and no back to backs for the next 60 months as a precautionary measure.

He sat out the following year in Brooklyn, so it was roughly a year and a half before his return.

Soooo, are we really not mentioning Demarcus Cousins? One of the last big names we traded for, who immediately tore an Achilles and was never the same again. Good times.
