I don't understand why so many people think Monty isn't going to be fired after this season.

In his first year, and it is now VERY EVIDENT, we won 46 games thanks to CP3. Last year and this year are nothing more than the same thing with new players.

He isn't make anyone better and some of his decisions are still questionable. (AD) We don't have much leadership on this team and bringing in a veteran coach just might do the trick. Especially after we pick up a big name FA next season. This team is oozing with upside and any veteran coach would have to be crazy not to want to try us out.

Who else thinks Monty is gone in the offseason and why? Who thinks he stays?

Ask yourself how many games would Greg Popovich win with this team? With the unfortunate injuries? With our star player playing half the time?

Ask yourself how many games would Jerry Sloan win with this team? With the unfortunate injuries? With our star player playing half the time?

Win lots of games: "It's only because of CP3!"

Lose lots of games: "It's only because of Monty!"

I made one a while back..go find that too.

I do think his rotations are horrendous and coming into the season I projected us getting 30-35 wins, but this is fine with me if we lose out.

Of course this isn't because we're one of the youngest teams in the league, its because of the coach

This is exactly why its stupid to fire Monty

I am glad everyone knows best but when do you think a first time head coach, and this is his first head coaching job, will turn into a NBA Finals coach?

Think about that before defending the man.

And when do you think the Hornets will be able to attract a Finals worthy coach? Good coaches get to pick their jobs and they usually don't pick early stage rebuilds. If Monty's not the guy he'll be replaced, but now is not the year to do it.

I think he's awful. In fact, I'm considering hiring some guys to take him out at the knees because he sucks so bad. He deserves it. My only problem is that I can't decide whether we should hire a Van Gundy or Phil Jackson.

What do you think?

Phil Jackson

Obviously would be a good candidate. I am a big fan of some of his personal beliefs like psychedelic drug use such as mescaline, and the overall power of zen. However I don't understand why he trash talked New Orleans after Katrina. I am convinced he had a bad acid trip down here in the 70s.

Bull shite

AD- is our best player
EG- very inconsistent, injured half the year
GV- Is a solid NBA starting PG
RA- provides nothing on the defensive end
AA- provides nothing on the offensive end
RL- no athleticism
RM- nothing more than a role player off the bench
BR- isn't a point guard more of a two guard
LT- bench player
XH- bench player
AR- injured
JS- injured
DM- needs to improve, has potential to be a 20 min pg guy

We have no veteran leadership besides a solid rotation guy in Mason, a defensive player only at the 3, one of the most unathletic centers in the NBA, a 19 year PF who is adjusting to the game, and Ryan Anderson who is not that good on defense.

To say he hasn't developed any players is ridiculous

Aminu- has gotten much better
Rivers- was the most improved through the season
Vasquez- has become a double double machine
Smith has improved a lot on defense.

He is not the best in game coach, but he is getting our players to maximize their potential.

I'd give Monty one more year, If next year isn't any better then he has to go.
