Loomis has flat out said he basically has no role with the Pels.
He has no relationship with other GMs and POBOs, and he knows nothing about basketball.
Ferry and presumably the AGM have relationships around the league.
They aren’t going to ask Dell Demps to call up the Kansas City Chiefs for an NFL draft day trade.
Use your head.

Guys - this stuff never was, never is, and never will be a one man show. As I have told you all for years, you would be shocked how many moving parts there are in a Front Office

A deal can be worked out, but anything can happen in 5 months. I'm all in on going with the Celtics, but there's absolutely no guarantee they'll really give us "everything we want " for Davis.
