If Brooklyn turns their attention to Harden, that hurts us a lot

I think that's a smoke screen, but if it isn't I think that makes Jrue a lot more attractive to a team like Miami for sure and maybe Boston. Miami I think it pushes them to value Jrue more than Herro. Boston I think they still would want to move Kemba as the main piece for Jrue, but including more future draft assets becomes likely.

It definitely makes Boston more interested you’d think.

The more I think about the Kemba deal, the more o wouldnt do it.

Especially with all the load management talk
If this was 2 year ago Kemba, then yeah all day.

I really think its going to be a bidding war for jrue

Yeah, if Nets get Harden, I could see Boston, Philly, Miami and even Indiana coming hard after Jrue.

Boston-Brown?
Philly-Simmons?
Miami-Herro?
Indiana-Turner?

You're aiming way high

Boston: Smart
Philly: Richardson/Thybulle and Horford
Miami: DJJ, D Rob
Indiana: Oladipo and Turner

Indiana intrigues me, especially knowing Boston wants Turner. If we could get Indiana to send us Dipo and Turner for Jrue, I would try to flip both of them for other assets, and maybe take Horford if Philly wants to give up picks.

One that works:
Indiana: Jrue
Boston: Turner
Philly: Oladipo, Miller
Pels: Smart, Horford, #21 + 2 future 1sts from Philly

Trading Jrue by adding one of the worst contracts in the league seems like a horrible idea imo.

I think it’s pretty clear that Griff is aiming for a high draft pick in this years draft.

I’m not touching Horfords contract with a 20 foot pole

Yeah, but if the goal is matching up better with an offensive juggernaut why would they trade Brown or Smart? I would think they'd still be trying to move Hayward or Kemba and would have to improve the value with future picks. I'm not sure how much that does for the Pels unless they can flip that for something they want.

It would have to be part of a multi team deal with another lottery team like Atlanta.
