re: Lonzo agrees to S & T deal with Chicago

bye lonzo (i hated you BTW)
If you people would just say this & save your shitty spins on how this is a good trade, that’d be great.
We got robbed. If we’re gonna trade a player for shite every time his agent says he doesn’t wanna be here we might as well move to Seattle. Go ahead & start convincing yourselves you don’t want Zion because if we don’t start winning soon he’s out of here. Satoransky, Temple & a 2nd won’t help as much as Lonzo would. But hey we have cap space right? We’re a losing franchise with a shitty fan base, we’ll have to spend A+ player money on a B- player and that’s not enough to win.
This is the worst fan base in sports. That goes for any sport professional or collegiate (LSU)

And people like you are why. We made 1 move that may not even be complete, 1 hour into free agency and you want everyone fired.
Calm the everliving shite down

We have a ton of cap space now and that can help us out for next years FA.
This is what we all say EVERY YEAR.

Media gonna have a field day with our arse for this shite lol. Welp nothing we can do but look to FA. And hope for some miracle.

There has to be more to this right?

Exactly, if they aren't useful players, which they aren't, we just gave them Ball and cap relief for a fricking second. This is an arse deal.
I believe that the Bulls had a team option that they just picked up today. Declining it would have given them cap space to sign Ball outright at the 4/$84m. Their picking up his option makes it pretty clear that the Pels wanted him, either as a player or a movable piece.

Oh they've already started the "Big loss for the Pels==what do they do now. They have to prove to Zion that he should be here" today

And they would have lost all of their exceptions. Chess, not checkers.

Gayle needs to fire Griff. I can't believe he gave Chicago cap relief to sign Lonzo. What an idiot!!
This team will be back in the lottery.

I need the ghost of David Stern to throw Griffin under a bus somewhere.
Posted on 8/2/21 at 6:11 pm to ErikGordan
Well what can you say Griff loves to help the league out... wait.....what if it turns out Griff works for Klutch? Lol

I highly doubt Zion is pissed. The guy said it’s up to Lonzo in what he wanted to do. If he told pelicans he really wanted to stay, he would. Especially at that price. It’s Rich Paul for crying out loud.

I’m sure Zion cares more about winning. Let’s see where this deal ends up.
Posted on 8/2/21 at 6:17 pm to Not Cooper
I think the last time we had cap space was in AD’s second season.
I’m pretty sure we were renouncing dead guys in order to get space to go after Tyreke.

I don’t pretend to know much about what free agent moves are good/not good, but I do know that most of the posters melting in here don’t know either, but y’all think you do.
Way too many emotional bitches in here for a move that probably won’t be completed in a vacuum.
Just take a breath, pop some vagisil, and wait until the dust clears to judge our moves.

This is basically the same return from the deadline. Some of you guys are not following what was being offered for Zo. It was not good, Zo is overhyped from Twitter and talking heads. Teams weren't offering him shite. And btw in not sure you guys are understanding this return. This was basically a throw in to get him off the books. He didn't want to be here, and we didn't want him.

Please get this sound logic out of my face. Everything sucks always.
