Just looking for a third team to complete the deal.

Obviously take it with a giant grain of salt. But the Lakers fans all swear by this guy in the comments. He apparently has a good friend in the Lakers FO.

The third team was going to be either PHX or CHI, but those talks broke down. The two teams being focused on now are the Wizzards and Hawks.

Lakers version of Crewz,

He knew that Zubac got engaged and that Lebron and KD had dinner one night.

He also said that Kawhi Leonard was a lock to get traded to the Lakers.

He doesn't know shite about a trade.

And his statement makes no sense.

Also we have long been discussing this in another thread...

This doesn’t line up with what Windhorst supposedly just said about Paul and AD trying to force him to the Lakers. If the deal was already almost done, there would be no need for Windhorst mouthpiece to be tanking AD’s value. What Windhorst said seems to be to me in line with an effort to sabotage a deal that is close with another team.

Or it may be true Ainge is holding back on Tatum, the Pels have gone further down the line with the Lakers and the AD/Paul/Lakers cabal is trying to scare Ainge off for good.

ETA: Mmhmm...

Celtics and Lakers are engaged in trade talks with New Orleans on All-NBA star Anthony Davis, league sources tell me, @ZachLowe_NBA, @ramonashelburne and @WindhorstESPN. Lakers No. 4 pick has been discussed as trade chip to help Pels acquire high-level player in multi-team deals.

Washington Beal and who do you think we get from the hawks? Their pick or Collins(I wish)?

Your theory could be right as well. Definitely more than one way to look at the info. I think this “Lakers close” talk is because the Pels saying “get this or this for Ball and Kuz and we’ll have a deal.” The Lakers are prematurely running with it that they are close, but in actuality, they are still far apart.

Another theory is that this has dropped recently in order to change the “No big time FA want the Lakers” narrative that has recently developed, to show that they are still a desirable destination.

I think getting Beal, a pick this year and Ingram would be great. given the circumstances of frickery by Rich Paul and Bitchony Davis.

Lakers Get: AD, Hill

Pels Get: Beal, #9, Ingram

Wiz Get: Ball, Kuz, #4

I'm no contract or trade expert, but I see this being a very good 3 way for all 3 teams' needs / wants?

Sounds fair to me.

Ian Mahinmi might need to go to us or Lakers as well to make it totally fair.

Beal isn't what the Lakers need... first of all, you aren't getting him without Ingram. Second, matching salaries challenging, even in a 3way. They would likely need to eat into their max cap room.

Then he is not their version of Crewz. No one swears by him.

I think the Wiz would either want to keep the #9, get a future Lakers first, or send out Mihinmi in the deal. But it feels close to fair value. However, I'm not sure how the Wiz having no permanent GM in place impacts things. Are they really going to allow an interim to trade their franchise player?

So if I read these bombs and threads correctly, the Pels aren't interested in the #4 pick. That's the only decent pick the Lakers have. It's all players?
Anyway, if it's primarily players, prefer their pick be in future years. Pels need at least something in their pocket.

Yeah agreed, Lakers will have to give up another future 1st and 2nd probably. I think that is realistic if all parties are good with return but I have a feeling Wiz still wouldn't do it unless it's just really bad with Beal.
