Sources: In the Kyrie Irving meeting with Cavs, one of primary teams raised as a preferred trade destination for him: The San Antonio Spurs.

That would blow but better than going to a mediocre team that would knock us out of the playoff hunt

How about the Hornets? Irving goes to Carolina and joins Jordan. The Hornets can build a package around Walker. Lets say walker, Batum, Kamisky and a future 1st for Irving and Thompson? Would that be enough?

Bledsoe maybe from phx? dragic from Mia?

Most teams want to trade stars out of conference and Phoenix has cap space so they can save Cleveland a lot of money in taxes. Irving for Bledsoe and picks might save Cleveland $20 million in taxes. Throw in Shumpert for one of Phoenix's young players and you could save another $30+. I think they're in the 5x level of tax now.

Cavs should trade Kyrie and Lebron and build their future based on return of those assets.

They should, but they won't.

Also, I want the Pelicans to keep a 1st rounder for once.

Lakers won't end up with Kyrie. They will likely end up with Lebron though. His agent contacting Pelinka couple days ago says alot now.

Kyrie and Bron are gone.

ESPN Sources: On Kyrie Irving front, Cavs were given four preferred landing spots: New York, Miami, San Antonio, Minnesota.

Glad to see Phoenix isn't on the list. Hopefully he goes to the Knicks.

Crazy what hiring a real coach and front office did for Minnesota's perception in less than the span of a year.

Thought the same thing. When would you have expected Minnesota to be a preferred destination for a star player?

The Knicks can send back Melo who might help keep LeBron in town. I wonder if the Knicks would go as far as trading Melo and Porzingis for Kyrie and Love? You probably need to send Porzingis to a 3rd team.

Cavs get Bledsoe/Melo/Courtney Lee
Knicks get Irving/Love
Suns get Porzingis and a bad contract like Shumpert

I'm not even sure if picks need to be exchanged. Everyone kind of gets a good deal.

Let's just throw Moore, Ajinca, Qpon, and Cook in their face and use a lot of bold lettering and exclamation points. Maybe they'll get distracted and accept
