Over the last five games, Holiday is averaging 17.2 points and 3.6 assists on 44.9 percent shooting.

He's also down to 1.4 TO's and 1.8 PF's over that time.

He has looked better, but if his assists are going to drop like that he needs to be scoring 20 or more. Hopefully his 3 is on the mend. 32% in the last 5 isn't good but it's much better than the low 20%s.

Agreed.

Long-term Jrue has to find his stroke, and really long-term he needs to improve his catch and shoot ability.

He definitely looks more comfortable, decisive, and productive as a two though. Which is encouraging.

Yea 32% is nothing to write home about, but its quite an improvement from where he was.

I think it's all in Jrue's head. He has to see himself as THE guy on offense. And Jrue's got enough ability and IQ to recognize what the defense is giving him, recognize if a certain shot isn't falling, and change how he wants to attack. He just simply needs to learn to be aggressive while staying under control. I think the under control part (part due to Rondo/Nelson & part due to Jrue himself getting acclimated to his new mindset) is the difference between Jrue now and Jrue at the start of the season.

I just don’t ever see that happening. He’s not going to get the touches. If he can stay in the 16-18 range and provide solid defense, he’s earning his money.

For reference, Thompson is averaging 20.2 this year on a usage about 4-5% higher than Jrue.

He is killing it. I'm glad he has found a good home. I still wish we would have kept him and sent Holiday instead. Evans is just better and it blows my mind that people don't see it.

Bunchy has the fan collateral to get away with a thread like this after eating a little crow. I'm sure he already has.

Yes let’s bump a thread where everyone felt the same way. Jrue looked like absolute hot garbage at this point.

Since Boogie went down he’s played like an absolute AllStar.

Stop. He’s been playing like this since late November. He averaged 21 points/game in December lol. He was cold for the first few weeks of the season. That’s what happened. I know it’s crazy.

From November 25th to when Boogie went down he was averaging 21 points a game. I know you still want to believe your right Fun Bunch, but give it up. He was just on a cold streak to start the season.

At the time he wasn’t playing well. Then he was. Believe I was right? I was right. Then I became unbelievably wrong.

You’re acting like Jrue played bad with AD and Boogie, but that wasn’t the case. He just had a bad start to the season. That’s it. It happens. Sometimes players go through slumps.
