Dude is just straight awful so far this year. So fricking bad.

And owed 125 million. Jesus.

Hopefully he magically plays well with Rondo.

He's played well enough in the second half. Fantastic defense.

He’s shut down one of the hottest players in the league tonight.

He wasn't even TERRIBLE offensively. Bailed out by the rebounds on FT's but 4/9 isn't going to kill you. Cut out one TO (would be 5AST to 3 TO) and have him make one of his two 3's (5/9 for 13) and no one would be complaining. He was absolutely fantastic on defense, and two of his 4 TO's came early, so he cleaned it up quickly.

Choked on both free throws at the end. Davis and cousins both had to bail him out...

Those are called Kobe Assists. It's about time his teammates caught on.

He’s our “3rd best player”. And a guard.

He needs to be better than good on defense and unreliable on offense.

Okay Jrue is jeckyll and Hyde delux on offense, but come on the guy has been killing it on defense down the stretch.

Oladipo was kept fairly quiet

Curry had an “off night”

Lilliard had an “off night” (started off like 1/11)

At what point do we say they had an off night because they were being covered by Jrue?

I get why people are pissed at Jrue. I am too despite being one of his biggest supporters in the past. I still think that his signing could end up essentially being the end of the franchise in the city if he doesn't improve. But this isn't the kind of performance that deserves hate unless you're going to hate on him every single time he doesn't play like a $25m/yr player, which will rarely happen.

I really think he will because the only thing Jrue is shooting well are layups and Rondo can get him at least a few more per game. Bring Solo back too so he only has to be the 2nd best perimeter defender and his flaws will stop being exposed so much. He'll still be over paid but he'll stop being a net negative.

It’s exactly the performance. He absolutely sucked on offense and choked at the end.

Honestly, I feel like Jrue’s biggest problem is his complete inability to get to the line.

Obviously, he is in a ridiculous 3pt shooting slump that I can’t imagine will continue long term. However, I don’t think that would matter if he got calls while driving. Given his athletic ability I can’t wrap my head around how he never goes to the line.

I really hope when Rondo comes back and he's moved off the ball he will improve greatly.

You're making a good point, but he isn't making Bruce Bowen/Tony Allen money. He's making multiple all star appearances money. I won't blame him for maximizing his earning potential (that's on Derpin' Dell), but he needs to figure his shite out on the offensive end.

I don't know if he's feeling the pressure to score now, but he is jacking up way too many bad shots. It's one thing if he is just shooting at a poor percentage, but his percentage is hurt by putting up low percentage shots.

We need Jrue to average about a 17/6/6 on about 45% shooting with almost almost no turnovers and great defense with rondo back. He would still be very overpaid but we could be a good team if he did that
