The Magic choked and Banchero hates him. Wish we had locked down Rondo and not pussyfooted around.

Explain to me again why they'd want Rondo again? I figure they would go after a playoff ready coach considering the investment in that roster.

I want him because he’s got a great basketball ball mind combined with an edge and an attitude. I believe his personality isn’t going to let anyone just half arse it. They will play hard under him or not at all.

I'm talking about Orlando and your concern about them. It makes no sense to me why they want or would even consider Rondo.

Why would Rondo want to come here while Zion is still here? Zion is a coach killer and a franchise killer. Rondo would be dumb to make this his first head coaching gig. We are miles behind everyone except Memphis in our division. Our franchise player sucks. Our GM is a retard. Rondo ain't coming here. He's a smart guy. Guarantee he goes to be an assistant coach on a team like the Heat, before he goes to be a head coach for a team that is going nowhere.

I don't think it's so much an infatuation with Rondo specifically but the innate desire to do something different. We've been a trash franchise for so long that hiring a retread is just boring. Rondo would be exciting and different. He could ultimately fail (which I don't see happening) but at least it's the franchise taking a risk to reignite the fanbase.
