Yeah.

But we are talking about Dell Demps here. I'm not sure who is worse:

Demps for being such a dipshit with putting together a roster

or

Loomis/Benson for allowing him to continue to make future impacting moves.

I hope it's not true. I like Moore. I would hope Galloway is sent instead.

But, if it is Moore...I wonder if he wants out of here. Maybe we promised more and he's not gotten it. I have no idea.

The fact that Loomis/Benson would allow him to trade away another 1st round pick doesn't leave me with much confidence that they are looking to make a change this off-season

If they send moore out, I would think that the plan to sign someone or trade for someone like Fournier with the 2017 pick is the plan, since they would seem to be trying to shed salary.

If there was a way to get Fournier and Vucevic from Orlando and then have
Jrue/Frazier
Fournier/Buddy
Hill/DC
AD/Diallo
Vucevic/Okafor

I think it 100% says that we aren't, which is unfrickingbelievable.

Not a lot of GMs are going to want to take a job without a decent amount of future assets. This would hamstring one of your biggest assets for possibly multiple years.

But yeah, I still think these guys are just taking a chance based on the most likely rumor, and hoping to hit it big.

If they are wrong we will forget about them forever.

That looks like an awful deal

It shouldn't surprise anyone that Benson would rather try to get an 8th seed and make a splash than build for the future. You really think Demps is calling the shots?

Demps wanted to trade last year's pick at the deadline and was blocked. You really think Demos doesn't want to trade the pick? You really think Loomis is making basketball decisions?

i'm all for this but not if we lose Jrue. also we just need to tank this season and draft Jackson/Tatum/Isaac

Holiday
Hield
Rookie SF
Davis
Okafor

would be a solid starting 5 going forward

Over on PR they pointed out that Philly's roster is full at 15, so if we send 2 players they have to too or they need to have another deal lined up. For us to take someone back they'd have to be cheap. Sauce Castillo or Luwawu? That would make me feel a little better about giving up Moore too. Demps could tell himself that Luwawu is like our 2018 pick.

Wasn't it the opposite? Demps could have traded Ryno to Cleveland for a first but Benson blocked it. What trade are you talking about? I didn't even mention Loomis.

I did not hear anyone blocked it, but rather that he wanted this year's pick and not 2018. Supposedly Toronto (and maybe also Washington) offered a 2018 pick for Ryno, but Demps balked. Now he looks like a fool as he could have used that 2018 pick in a deal for Okafor.

Go back and read. Several sources said Demps did not have the ability to trade the 2016 pick. And no Benson did not block a Ryno trade, Dell held Ryno because he Wanted to resign him or move him for more.

Benson is not demanding the 2018 be traded.

Looks like Dante is out tonight for "personal reasons". Maybe he's included in the potential deal?

I think it's pretty obvious the things they would like to accomplish by the trade deadline are move both Ajinca and Asik and trade a future 1st for a center. Also, the rumored plan for this summer is to trade our 2017 pick for a SF. If we have Hill and an upgrade (hopefully) at SF, there's not much reason to pay DC $6-$8 to come back, so if you can get something for him trade him now rather than repeat last year's mistakes.

Isn't there a rule that says you cannot trade consecutive first round picks? So if we trade 18 we cannot trade the 17 pick
