I think that rule is for a single trade you cant give away consecutive picks.

I have a feeling PHI wants more than Dell is offering. And PHI is fielding other offers

You can not owe consecutive future picks. But if we promise the 18 pick, we can still trade the 17 pick on draft night. We would actually pick the person they wanted, and then trade that players rights.
Same thing we did in the Jrue trade. We drafter Noel for the Sixers, and then traded him and the pick the following season.

If the deal were really done I doubt we'd be playing the two guys supposedly in the trade (Moore and Ajinca). Them playing Ajinca does tell me that the sixers probably asked to see him in action.
There's no doubt him starting and even playing at all means something is clearly up. But I just doubt that the deal is already done

Wondering if either Pels have moved on or have received word that Okafor going elsewhere. Philly does not care if Ajinca plays as he likely will never report. If Moore were part of the deal, very odd that he would be playing.

Hopefully this means we're cleaning house at the end of the year. It doesn't make sense to have the new regime come in missing future picks.

Perhaps Cunningham replaced Moore as part of the deal?

I think it's all posturing. Play Moore, look like you're working on another deal by sitting Cunningham and you make Philly nervous and give Chicago reason to keep low balling.

The Platoon USA ?@ThePlatoonUSA 2m2 minutes ago More Being told while Sixers have agreed to send Okafor to NOLA they've yet to decide which of multiple packages NOLA offered they want in return
I wasn't believing too much of this before, but this tweet really makes it seem like the don't know shite

It was just strange that we had so many guys out - "personal" without much a a reason. This one actually makes sense

I'm hearing it's all involving the 2018 1st but with different packages of ajinca/tyreke/Galloway, asik/Moore, and jrue but they send us the 2017 pick in return.

I said earlier that I wasn't going to like this trade either way, but if we pull Philly's 2017 1st round pick I would be ecstatic, especially if we dump Asik in the process
Where are you hearing that though?

I havent heard this anywhere, but....
WTF are we thinking of this is on the table? Do that shite yesterday!!
Two potential top 5 picks in this loaded draft! And the potential to have a ton of cap space to fill out the roster in a year or two. Being able to throw a max at any position of need!
Markelle Fultz/Lonzo Ball
Buddy Hield
Josh Jackson/Jonathan Isaac
Davis
Diallo
Pick your max player and veterans to fill a need. Yes please!

Someone in the clinic saw me on TD on my tablet, then found out their job and whatnot. Seemed pretty honest about it all, said the jrue trade was the last one they want to do but said if they're losing him they're going for a haul. Fully intend to give him the max this offseason. Also said the only other big man they're targeting is vucevic but Orlando wants the 17 pick which is not available unless butler, porter, or Crowder are involved.
Take it with a grain of salt. But seemed like this person didn't have a reason to lie, also apparently told one of the docs about the asik trade with Houston before it went down too.

wow
If Davis is on board with it and the years of rebuild, I don't see why you wouldn't pull the trigger on Holiday for an unprotected Sixers 1st
