Would gladly do that.
I’d rather BI than Cj.

I guess that I am the only one here fine with extending BI. It's not ideal, but we will have a crazy amount of talent 1-4, and the season will be fun. Extending BI means that we can trade him later. Murray handling the ball means that BI's usage might drop a bit, but his efficiency will go up.

Do you pay attention to the NBA at all? If so, you would know this simply isn’t the case.

I agree that we can’t lose the asset. But, going into the season with a minimum center and Ingram is bad on so many levels. It affects the defense, it affects Trey’s development (with an extension). It limits Zion’s development as the leader of the team, how does Dejountae fit in?

I firmly believe it is in the team’s best interest to take a slightly lesser deal now for Ingram, especially if it nets a real center, than going into the season with him and the roster/development issues it creates.

We aren't going to have a minimum center.

Small market teams can’t get over their skis with overpaying these kind of contracts.

If a player is not consistent and constantly competing as an elite player it will kill a team’s ability to compete.

The teams that spend that kind of money are typically big market teams that don’t care eventhough it is the wrong move.

I think if they got him to sign it that a lot of teams would then be calling wanting to trade, especially with the salary cap expected to rise 7-10% next year. Teams were just scared of giving him the max, not BI the player. We can find a good package if he agrees to those terms.

Give me the death lineup of Murray/CJ/Herb/Ingram/Z

BI’s been one of the more consistent players in the league since coming to the Pels.

So, you aren't going to close with Trey? The fun thing is that Willie can just bench whoever is having an off night.

I have been saying that I would keep him for anything close to 40. I would be fine with that. He is a good asset, just not worth the max.

BI has the size to play small ball 5. Honestly getting Ingram to cave on his contract, not trading him, and it working out is the kind of lucky failing forward that Griff does.

We only saw this for a few minutes towards the end of last season, but it looked good. He's a lot stronger than the string bean he was when he first arrived in New Orleans.

Trey and CJ would switch spots on occasion, but I want 4 true shot creators with Herb. And an Ingram that shoots 3s completes that look of 4 3pt shooters with herb as a catch and shoot defensive stopper

In his top 3 seasons of games with the Pels he has averaged 62 games. He hasn’t played enough games in a season since his rookie year to qualify for an all-nba award under the new policy.

They were working pretty well before BI hyper-extended his knee.

Well I guess you are right. He consistently doesn’t play enough to sink that much money into him.

I kind of like his game, but not for the max. I think it also a chance for us to pivot to Murray and Zion.

We were fourth in the West for one day. Any other year they played games together they didn’t sniff the playoffs. Both have an extensive injury history and their games both rely on living in the paint. In 5 years together- what have they accomplished?

Once new TV contract starts salary cap will increase so that is a reasonable offer for Ingram
