Add Indiana to the list of teams discussing the No. 4 pick with the Pelicans.

Lopez has been pretty connected the past few weeks.

Gotta be Turner, right?

I hope we drag this out until draft night. Maybe some brash GM will have a few too many old fashioneds and throw something crazy our way

Holy shite, if somehow we end up with Beal or Turner, those are two championship level pieces that fit like a glove with Zion.

High playoff seed here we come!

Turner much better fit next to Zion. He shots well anywhere on the floor, especially from 3pt line.

What would they even do that is pick based? Feel like Turner is plenty young enough. I know people are gun shy about the “ young vet “ route, but I feel like the quality of young vets this time is going to be SIGNIFICANTLY higher due to the assets we are acquiring them with.

This. Turner is the perfect fit for this team. Turner makes us a playoff team next year.

One of the few guys that would actually be worth it. He's pretty much perfect next to Zion, and his deal would be ending when Zion's rookie deal is as well.

That’s what i would have to imagine.
#4, solo, bertans for turner and #18 works but they could possible ask for Moore if they’re taking on solo.

Honestly it makes the most sense. We need a center, they have 2 that are both very good and can’t pay both. You give them #4 where they can get a high caliber pg or sf to pair with dipo, which they’ve been desperately wanting.

They can eat solos contract this year combined with sabonis contract and that equals what turner would make this year.

Solos contract off the books next year. Extend sabonis to something similar as turner and you have garland/dipo/sabonis or dipo/hunter/sabonis to build off of the following year and an extra 16ish mil in cap space instead of having 36 mil tied up in two players who play the same position.

Indiana doesn’t have crap to work with on a pick based exchange unless they are offering the same deal we just took from the Lakers.

They have a 2021 second from Milwaukee and have only sent out a 2020 second of their own (45-60 protection until 2023, then unprotected) to Brooklyn.

And unlike LA, Indiana isn’t so tapped out that seven years of buttfricking their corpse for picks and swaps will pay off handsomely.
