Brogdon's lowest overall shooting month was 41%.

Lonzo spent most months shooting below 40%. Had one red hot month, February, one solid month in March, then the rest were not ideal.

Which again, gets to why people value Brogdon higher. With more responsibility he just is more efficient on the offensive side, while being as good or better on defense.

Lonzo may develop some of those skills, or really hone the ones he currently has, but so far that hasnt happened and on a lot of them, he hasn't budged much.

So I dont fault skepticism about Lonzo when he still has a ways to go and wants to be paid like he's already there.

Obviously this is just random and on the fly but I used shooting below 25% from 3 this season:

Zo - 13 times in 55 games
Brogdon - 14 times in 56 games

Had similar numbers loaded, except I used sub 30% games

“Consistency from three” exists for like 5 players in the game. The conversation doesn’t start until you reach 40% threshold imo

Definitely

Was just providing 3pt data, but imo Brogdon is clearly the better player, whether he is or isn't the better 3pt shooter, which I'd say he is, I'd certainly trust him more whether that's fair or not.

And you expanded on the one snippet I mentioned where when Zo is inconsistent from 3, it's a lot worse due to the volume of his shots that are 3s.

Lonzo has very hot and very cold streaks. First ten games was shooting sub 30%. Then bounces back and shoots near 50%. Then cools back off and is shooting sub 35% for a dozen games, then up, then back down.

That to me is what I am talking about with consistency.

There are nights where Lonzo could get 8 wide open shots and miss 7 of them. And it is maddening still.

Which is not a problem if he's your #4 guy. It is if he's the #3.

Wins/losses riding on lonzo having an elite game or not tells us we're just not good/consistent offensively outside of zion and Ingram. That can't occur.

Now if you tell me: we're gonna get rid of Bledsoe, let hart walk, and trade for brogdon. I would be 100% okay with giving Lonzo that much. He still has potential to get better but you can't bank on that potential as the #3 guy when we're trying to get into the playoffs asap. Keeping Adams is fine at that rate too, by the time you need to pay everyone he can be traded or come off the books, ideally when jax is ready

Other realistic option..... I would love to see the pels sign Danny Green on a 2 year (8-10 mil a year contract).

Brogdon is the only answer in that question.

Hell no

Have you seen Lakers and Sixers complaining constantly about him?

Yeah, how well did Danny Green do today guarding Trae Young?

He's not worth anything close to $10 million now.

if you get another star, lonzo will still shoot just like now.

which is fine, because you're adding another 15+PPG consistent scorer instead of having to depend on the inconsistency of: NAW, Hart, Bledsoe, etc.

He's not.

He is just a 3 point shooter on a contender.

Huerter impressed me today.

I see. I think the TD consensus is to deal bledsoe for a recapped tire.

I'm afraid that zion and Ingram development is not yet at level to attract Guy3 or Guy2.

I'm sure that money will do the trick but that is beyond me.
wheel and deal.

brogdon, come on down.

brogdon
zo
ingram
zion
adams

hayes
naw
hart
Kira
new draft #1

is that it?
