How sick would our team be if Andre Drummon fell to us?

Spending our 2013 1st to jump up 2 spots and draft Drummond is the single most impactful do-over that can be done in the last 5 years.

Was never going to happen with Rivers being available.

Sad that Monty's relationship could have killed that possibility.

One that I always think about that nobody else says is the 2010 NBA draft.

Pick 10: Paul George - Pacers
Pick 11: Cole Adrich - Hornets

Butterfly effect. No AD if we have PG. I'd much rather have AD than PG as my best player. The interesting "what if" though is would PG have been enough to make CP3 stick around? PG developed really quickly so maybe you don't trade for Ariza, or if you do, you can play PG at SG. That's 2 long, lock down wing defenders next to CP3 and DWest.

Almost as sick as the team would be if we drafted Giannas or Gobert in 2013 at 6 instead of trading 2 picks and cap space for holiday.

Just imagine if y'all drafted Nerlens Noel to pair with AD....There wouldn't be enough blocked shots to go around.

My fantasy team would be sick if I took him instead of fricking Aldridge.

Yeah, I included Giannas in there as well. But, yeah we could've traded down to get Gobert or Giannas and probably picked up another 1st. Instead of trading 2 firsts for Jrue, we'd have Gobert or Giannas plus 2 1st's, but nah we decided to trade for the 14th best pg in the league making 11 mil a year.

i've made this same post 100 damn times since then.... being so pissed off about it...

Toronto had told Terrence Ross they were taking him so far in advance, he didn't work out for a few teams. They were TRYING to trade down a few spots to pick up a 2nd, or better pick... the Pistons weren't taking Terrence f'n Ross... it was always the best Center there for them... Drummond was in free fall... they were just licking their chops... about to get Meyers Leonard or Tyler Zeller, instead a guy mocked as high as top 3... falls to 9? haha

Drummond was ours for the taking... that Rivers pick was a signed sealed delivered favor from Monty back to the Rivers' family...
