Minny wanted one of the point guards and jumped for the chance of Garland or White guaranteed once ATL moved up to No. 4 for a wing.

This has always been a 3 person draft. I get if people don’t like getting Hill off the books before the deadline but after Zion, Jah, and RJ - picks 4-15 could fall in virtually any order and not really be all that surprising. You expect maybe Garland to go before 8 but after that, it’s a crapshoot.
