would be funny if AD were traded to the NYK and then they swing and miss on Kyrie and KD.

Someone call in a dedication for AD of Stealer’s Wheel “Stuck In The Middle With You”.

Because we have clowns to the left of us (Lakers) and jokers to the right (Knicks).

Yeah it would be pretty funny but they will get someone if they have AD.

But Jimmy Butler or Kemba Walker aren’t exactly the max FAs he wants.

Griffin and Gentry were at the combine.

Griffin has been spotted talking with Perry, Pelinka, and Zarren since the draft lottery. He likely is not taking formal offers until he meets with AD, but everyone knows the general outline of what is going on.

Not just funny, that would be amazing considering we would likely receive a future NYK pick in the deal.

so we passed on virtually every combination of Laker players minus Lebron + future unprotected 1sts

and Knicks think a few bench + role players are enough to pull off this trade

Thanks man. All of that is worthy of its own thread methinks. Surprised none of that has been posted here yet. Or that I haven't seen it on Reddit.

And Zarren?

Upstairs in the ballroom, Griffin saw Celtics assistant GM Mike Zarren, embraced him and screamed, “What did I tell you?” In the leaguewide general managers meeting earlier that day, Griffin apparently told everyone New Orleans would win the lottery. “I’ve already seen it,” Griffin recalled announcing to the room. “We’re winning this thing.”

What a boom

NOFOX is one of the 3-4 best posters on this board. Kind of retarded to call him out.

Do you understand what a spin is? New York and Los Angeles are painting a narrative. You described Griffin's conversation with Pelinka as "animated," that sounds more like an argument than an AD negotiation. Your other two instances are in an elevator and a parking lot at the combine.

There remains no consensus among Knicks decision-makers about including the No. 3 overall pick in a Davis trade, per sources. Obviously, the Knicks would prefer to keep the No. 3 overall pick (which is expected to be Barrett) and young center Mitchell Robinson out of any trade talks.

Then they have absolutely no chance at getting Davis. Only the Knicks could be dumb enough to think that was possible.
