All cap issues and what is probably best/realistic for the franchise aside, I always wanted Mike Conley next to Jrue and AD on this team.
Defensive hustler that knows how to facilitate an offense revolving around bigs, allows Jrue to play off the ball and isn't someone you have to worry about being an offensive liability/turnover machine because he is going to pretty consistently give you solid offensive output every night.

Well if you were rooting for us to tank and sell this game might be a double whammy.
Pels win big without AD and have more hope before the deadline. Grizz rack up another bad loss to an AD-less Pels team and move a stop closer to trading Conley...probably to the Pels.

There's a chance that Ewing Theory makes the other players actually try on defense instead of expecting AD to have their back, but this defense outside of AD/Jrue has been so bad I don't see how they pull off a big win streak.
