Your best bet.

Sign boogie.
Sign rondo.

Lebron goes to Philly.

Roco shoots like meh for whatever reason. Trade whoever+1st for Roco at deadline.

Use a Hill trade package for Carroll.

Use an Ajinca trade package for Korver.

S&T with Boogie?

How many times do you have to read "AD won't let us trade Boogie" before you realize the error in your ways?

I think Klay + luxury tax+ boogie in nola= most likely scenario.

That's not how the tax works

Swap Niko and Rondo and you've got something.

There is no other team LeBron can go to and contend with Golden State better than New Orleans

Couldn’t the Pelicans sign a 2+1 to Boogie and another elite player to avoid repeater tax?

From what I read non repeater tax of 14 mil over is roughly 26 million that year

And repeater tax kicks in after three consecutive years.

Couldn’t we technically do that if Gayle was willing to pay the price?

If we did boogie 2+1 and sent out hill/Moore/Ajinca we could pay Lebron / PG 25 million a year and pay roughly that 26 million in tax

I’m off of PG train. All aboard Klay train and obviously on the King train.

Delusion on this board is off the charts. Not only is a S/T of Cousins unrealistic because of his relationship with AD/Rondo, but the other team actually trading for Cousins has to want to pay max money to a big man coming off an achilles injury.

I think the thunder and the cavs are a different situation. The thunder aren’t going to blow it up while they have Rustle Statbook, but the cavs aren’t going to build around love. The cavs would take on crap in a S&T if it meant they garnered picks.

Is everyone her really that sold on George? Many Thunder fans seemed to be disenchanted. Of course, Okies.

I am. However, I would take any of the stars mentioned in this thread - Lebron, Klay, PG, Kawhi. Realistically, all are extreme long shots at best.

I hope he reads PT. Because he is stupid. Let's go all in on the twin towers. Trade everyone for Kat to pair with AD.

And the next guy said go out and get Paul George and Lebron. Then called us the hornets.

I am very interested to see what the Warriors are going to do over the next year or two. Are they going to go straight stupid and pay the ridiculous amount of luxury taxes to max out Durant, then max out Klay? or are they going to say we can still win it all without Klay, and we're just going to have to have to let him go. This was their first year paying the tax, and it isn't possible for them to avoid it over the next 3 years if they want to keep Durant, and then Klay, and then Draymond. that tax gets worse and worse as a repeater. Maybe letting Klay go, they can get under it for a year, then go back into it. Or maybe they have enough investors in their new arena that they simply dont' give a shite and will keep that core together b/c creating a dynasty will pay for itself.
