People are going to laugh at me but US, not Houston is closer to beating GSW.

Both teams need another All-Star but we have better ones.

Durant took a pay cut to reduce the tax, so maybe that'll happen again?

I do agree it's curious what they do, at some point jersey sales and the extra $ slow down right?

I'm on the train they actually just need an OK sf and don't really need Durant. Klay is more important since he's so good defensively he can help hide curry

Well the Ringer just reported, Klay apparently is currently talking about an extension instead of becoming a free agent. Apparently he loves where he is and has some pretty lucrative endorsements so he is willing to give them a break on his deal.

Yea in this hypothetical it would be

Rondo/Holiday/Klay (big enough to play the three)/AD/Boogie

Bench: Niko, Moore, Solo, etc

My realistic, hopeful, pick is Klay MFing Thompson.

For 2019/2020? Klay is under contract with GSW next season...

It's not a crazy idea in a couple years, but right now, NOLA doesn't have the cap space. But realistically, I doubt any of the Hamptons 5 leaves GSW on their own accord for a few years.

Reports already comming out about Klay giving the Warriors a healthy discount to stay.

I think that's a good move for Klay. He's not a #1 player but any team throwing enough money at him to steal him away would expect that.

If true, that's a smart move on Klay's part. He'll make plenty of money in GSW, and he'll keep playing for a perennial contender. Shows he values winning & stability over maximizing money. Titles > Money in the long run.

On tv after game1 Klay said
Paraphrasing
"I'm Paid handsomely and I like living where I am in sf bay area and the team is great."

Barring cataclysm earthquake or bay area volcanoes going off, he's staying.
His dad played. He knows the score. He's ok with being a top 4 two way perimeter player on the best team and getting to be NBA champs and gets playing time on USA team too.
