I have no idea. I wonder if he’s trying to move into coaching. I do think he’s done well enough to at least be considered for a national job.
One thing that could be a consideration...we have not heard about the Coaching for GLeague team.
Griff made some comments that the GLeague team coaching will be heavily integrated into their staff and will include “two way coaches” that travel back and forth with the players.

I was thinking same Bunchie. Wasn’t he in talks for a position a couple years back? Also wouldn’t surprise me if he’s somehow on Monty’s staff in Phoenix

If he was working in a new capacity for the Pels I think they would coordinate the announcements. It's possible he's got a new gig elsewhere that just isn't ready to announce it. Since we haven't heard anything else though I'm thinking it's probably more like his contract was up and when he asked for more money Fox Sports cheaped out just when they're about to get a ratings bonanza thanks to Zion.

Really hate to read this. It's amazing that his first year I wanted to stick a blade in my ear listening to him call games. He was one of the worst commentators I heard. And then he got SO much better and became one of my favorites, which I never saw coming. Hopefully this is because he has something great lined up for himself. Otherwise this is just straight up bad news.

That would be my guess as well. If he was getting a position with us they would have coordinated announcements imo.

Can get little bit over excited at times but I didn’t think Daniels was that bad lol he had some good honest opinions/criticism for AD during last year’s entire shite show so let’s see what he’s got.
