Official Statement

You can count him out for the foreseeable future. Does that hurt our chances of throwing his contract into a trade this year? That seemed to be the consensus on why we signed him to 7 mil a year.

I think his contract is the trade value, not his on court performance.

He's still an expiring we can use to match salary.

That really sucks. I don’t think it will impact his utility in a trade all that much but it will impact our shooting off the bench.

More opportunity for kung fu Kenny I guess. Sucks for the guy.

What's up with the torn achilles trend in sports recently?

Damnit.

yes he was more of a contract for trades, but I was just thinking the other day that this is the first time I can recall that we have a roster where 1-15 can all give minutes and no "useless" players.

It will impact his trade value a little. Most of the value would be the expiring contract, but Darius obviously also had some value as a player.

It sucks for Miller but this allows more playing time for Hart and NAW. Makes it less crowded for minutes in the backcourt. Now you can give more minutes to Hart and Moore at the 3 depending on the matchup which open up minutes for NAW.

Yeah, we had the problem of how we were going to find enough minutes for everyone, and this "helped" solve that problem.

I feel bet for Darius, though. This really stinks for him.

The positive for him is that I think he will probably make more this year than he has made in his career.

Is his contract paid for by insurance? If so, might make his contract even more valuable.

He will miss 7-8 months per Malika Andrews’ source.

He got hurt playing 3 on 3.
