#Pelicans SG Eric Gordon tears his labrum and is out indefinitely. That's going to take a long recovery. Cue Austin Rivers' music...

Well... shite.

Rivers has to step up in a big way.

Great chance for him to prove his worth in his next contract and for us to know what we have in him. EG was never in the LT plan, but rivers possibly could be.

We are so thin though. One more injury and this season is shot, unfortunately.

I can say with utmost confidence that I did not foresee Eric Gordon fricking up his shoulder.

I'm saying him getting injured. Not the specific type of injury. He is made of glass.

thats a pretty serious injury. there's no way we can get cap relief for it, eh?

If he misses the rest of the season they might actually be able to get insurance to cover 80% of it. But that's just more money for Benson to throw on the pile. We could get about a $5 million disabled player exception if he's done for the year, but there's no one worth signing at this point and you can't use it for trades.

This sucks. I feel bad for the guy. He was playing really well the last few games.
