How would you feel about trading Jack and the #10 pick to move up for Drummond?

would any team even do that?

did drummond even work out for the Hornets? i don't like him enough to trade JJ, but i'll leave that in the hands of demps

I'll be impressed when you get your stabbing. Living in N.O. is better than any barren wasteland you are from.

Time to draft Davis and Lamb. After this Mek/Ariza trade, its almost guarenteed that the SF/C spot will be taken care with the 10th pick.

PG-JJack/GeneralGrievous
SG-EGordon/2nd rounder/belli
SF-Lamb/Aminu
PF-Davis/Ayon
C-FA/Smith

Or if we can draft Drummond and get a FA SF, I will also be happy.
I personally think we should keep jack at PG and look to get stronger at the SF/C in the draft.

You would have to assume they resign Kaman here, right?

Batum would be nice
or you could trade the 10 pick and Jack, for a SF and late pick, draft a Center and try for Lou Williams at the PG spot in FA

Trade 10 and Jack to move up and clear out cap space. Draft Drummond. Sign D-Will.
PG-D-Will
SG- Gordon
SF-Aminu
PF-Davis
C-Drummond

That is a lot to give up for a huge bust risk.

Not just that, but we will be pretty entertaining to follow and watch. A young, energetic team with lots of cap space but not quite good enough to get into playoffs.

We'd be kind of like this past year's Timberwolves team or the young Blazers teams.

I understand we dumped two big salaries, but how else is this good for the Hornets besides more salary room? I still think Okafor is decent when healthy. Is this basically to ensure that we can match any offer for Eric Gordon?

but how is this good for the Hornets?

You save 30 million bucks. Pick up another draft pick. Rid yourself of two players who havent even remotely lived up to their contracts. Make yourself a viable destination for a max FA.

Geez Dell.....WTF were you thinkin????
